Some cool finds there. Neat in finding that park sign. Good bottle finds. I don't think we ever found a Mason jar lid here. Thank you for removing ballons off the beach, not good for wildlife. Wow, you come across a lot of fishing gear. Great score on Indian head coin and the liberty coin. Have a great weekend.

@@underthesurface4435 you too Matt. Yeah, most of us have a little “over the top” collection problem. Mine are not so much a refined lot, just a lot of this and that….lol! May I share my favourite chocolate cake recipe with you!? I have given out about 3,500 copies of it over the past forty years and it’s just so wonderful. I do like to share good things….here goes…. BOILED CHOCOLATE CAKE Into a med sized saucepan put: 1 cup of water, 1.1/4 cups sugar, 1/2 Tspn bicarbonate soda, 4 tblsp cocoa and 3oz. Butter or margarine. Simmer for 6 minutes. Place saucepan in a sink (1/4 full) of cold water to cool the mixture (so the eggs don’t scramble). then Add 2 beaten eggs, then sift in 1.1/4 cups Self Raising flour. (You yanks call it something else but I dunno what) Mix thoroughly. Pour into an 8” greased or lined cake pan and cook in the centre of oven on 375* for 45 to 50 minutes. Test with a skewer. You can top it with Nutella, (Yummo!) or peppermint icing or orange icing. You can also use this recipe for black forest cake. It’s truly scrumptious just like the lady in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!!!!! Please enjoy and share the Recipe around. I’ve made so many friends just sharing it. Bye for now. That star in the fragment is called a pinwheel. After a child's toy that was affixed to a stick and would rotate when the wind or a person blew on it. The clear glass may have been a shrimp cocktail jar that held an individual serving and may have had a metal cap that snapped on to the ring at the lip.

It actually has a wire bail to hold the lid on which also had a rubber seal...how do I know this? I have been using mine for 20+ years as a sugar bowl next to my stove to enjoy my hot tea! Nice hunting trip for you!😊
