We went out to night, it's -9* here currently. Hit the mother load of meat. Hamburger, bison burger, grass fed beef, petite steaks, filet's, roast kits, bacon wrapped steaks. Chicken - boneless skinless breasts, chicken thighs, ground turkey. Fish - trout and salmon. Amy, there is so much meat we filled our Jeep back and middle seat. We still left SO much, as we ran out of space. I can't decide if I'm happy or sad at the amount I saw in that dumpster. It was not even out of date.

that was so awesome. christmas is my favorite time of year. love the ornaments. dont understand why they dont donate the clothes, and food. good for us that can find them. i finally got to go with my daughter to another town dumpsterdiving, wow what a rush, before we went i had made out my grocery list, it would have been around 80 dollars, we went dumpster shopping first, my grocery shopping wound up being 15. and some change.

My mother is made fun of by friends and family for hoarding food and keeping so straight and organized always. My mother went hungry growing up as a child litteraly had to ask her adult neighbors to help feed her and two smaller brothers. Dunno her exact age, ima say 12 and her brothers were one in a diaper about 2yrs and the other young elementary school age. Mom left home and married my dad at age 14. Mom would've dumpster dived for the savings,b but what i learned from her is coupons, knowing the day fresh bread is put out and the stores sales etc etc double coupon and store brand prices. She was damn frugal and a good cook so we ate like Kings!
Amy i think you're both great people but i have to agree with all due respect, with another comment or 2 that i saw how that you seemed to be demeaning frugal daddy awfully bad today and you have been very sarcastically spoken today. I loved you in some of your newest vids as you were so humble, and quieter maybe as if you weren't so comfortable in front of the camera yet at that time. My sister started watching dumpster diving with curbside junkies, then I started watching that, then I decided to search for more divers. Found freakin frugal, so far this is my favorite to watch. You two together omg I laugh so hard wearing headphones, people just look at me like I'm crazy!! Oh well. Keep it frugal, stay out of Jail, stay in the dumpster. I tend to hoard food too.. I think mine comes from being a poor single mom.. even now that my kids are all grown and have their own home I still have the urge to stockpile (better word LOL)
What grinch threw all of that usable stuff away, granted it might not be everyone’s style but nursing homes would use it to decorate or hospitals, shelters etc. Thanks for another great video!
I am the same about food hoarding i am to afraid to not having food if i came broke without money.i always buy a bit more food because where i live we dont have dumpster.if there were dumpster i do the same collect some food .
Wow, what a haul. About food hoarding. NIAC and Homeland security put out a paper about a month ago urging Americans to have a 6 month supply of food and water on hand at all times due to a power outage. Like an EMP. So do not feel bad about wanting to store food up. Also we are headed into the super Grand Solar Minimum and our winters will get worse and worse.
I am 67 and had to move into senior citizen apartment as it is inexpensive recently. They inspect and look in your fridge and tell us "you have too much food". I am starting to sell on eBay. Don't have a computer, so using my phone. Wish me luck in rescuing myself. :)

My day is not complete with out a spill lol. I can not pass someone with a pram and a baby they are so sweet, I hate heights I am terrified even on a step ladder lol, I am a food hoader too. I was brought up on a farm that got snowed in and could not get out for weeks luckily I am in a different part of the country now.

I live in Canada when I was a kid we used to buy chef boy Ar dee boxed Lasagna, came with dry noodles, sauce ( which I could drink !!) and lil pkg of Parmesan , have you ever seen them at any of your stores ? I grew up with mother and Nan having a larder cupboard for when times are lean. Ten children and an absent father, so yes. Offal was always on the menu, cheapest meats. Pigs trotters, we loved them! It’s ingrained in me to have a stock of foods. 👍👍👍💜💜
I love love love love Bridges!!!!! I like babies too. I remember told someone I watch your baby from newborn to it's 1 year old and 5 or older. I use have quiet voice but not now I am so loud talking now, because I tried people tell me they couldn't hear me. Now the more excited I am the higher my voice get. Not ever funny, because so high pitch.
Amy, you are sooo right about children and parents expectations of them!! I never had that attitude with any of ours. They are on,y on loan to us, they are their own people. We guide and help when they ask, nurture. We had eight children, if they wanted to go to raves, we took them, picked them up, you cannot stem the ones that are a force of nature! They will do it anyway so best to make sure they are safe. We had two like this, both girls. Both now very grounded and respected women. One is a chef, the other has her own children’s daycare. See? Go with the flow, with the personality. I was a rebel myself do, I understood perfectly. I would sneak out. Opps! Hahaha!

I took a 2 day vacation so on my way back home, I'm going to the city that has 2 Big Lots and a Micheals dumpster, yahoo About 5 months ago found 2 packages of wired hangers.

The loudness for you is equated to your excitement! If we minded it, we would not watch! Besides you both are funny as hell! As far as your fears go, I say they are reasonable! I HATE ladders! I nearly fell off of the top of one once. Barely was able.to hook my foot around it as I fell/threw myself towards the roof! Since then, I avoid them as much as possible.
