Korea has some of the most sophisticated formulas that are then later on used in Western make up products. So in a sense often the products aren’t dupes, they are the originals. The Rom&nd glow lip balms are insanely close to the Charlotte Tilbury Happikisses a product that i bought because of you 😊 which are also made in Korea. Romance Kiss and Kaya Fig are very close shade dupes. AND YOU CAN PULL THEM BACK DOWN 😂
So glad Nivea Bordeaux is getting more love on RU-vid. I’ve been using it for about a year now and it’s great. You get that black honey color in a more comfortable formula that has spf in it.
I really appreciate your looking for glittery toppers in k-beauty and j-beauty because in my opinion those are the BIGGEST hit-and-miss products from east A/southeast Asian beauty in general. Super helpful!!
What a great guide - thank you! I would love it if you would do deeper dives on this subject for complexion, blush, etc…i.e., break it down by category. Thank you for your thorough and informative videos!
Even though I I’m from Japan, I didn't know the Nivea lip at all! It's like 3 dollars here. So I got it right away. This product is amazing!!🥰 Thank you for the recommendation❤
The Feev looks like the Half Caked liquid blushes, and the Half Caked one is more affordable. I bought the k-beauty lip products you recommended in your past k-beauty video, and love them. The Holika Holika eyeshadow looks really pretty and for under seven dollars on YS, I might pick some up. :)
Also to add in, the holika holika single eyeshadow color tule is so similar to dior single eyeshadow tutu. Their single shimmer, glitters are full of high end dupes.
It’s nice to see nivea bordeaux getting attention! A word of caution though, if you’re darker skinned like me it might not look quite like black honey on you. It’s more of a red tint on me with none of the plumminess of black honey, but a great product nonetheless!
Thanks for this video! This is the first video that breaks down an affordable and even an better K-Beauty option. I’m definitely going to get 3CE and Apieu when I visit Korea this year. Also, I think you’ll like Romand Juicy Glasting Tint!
A big YES in capital letters to more reviews and comparisons between Western and Asian beauty. I don't mind paying for quality but Asian beauty takes the prize for innovation, quality and affordability (excluding Cle de Peau, the brand is just on another level price wise).
I saw the same for Rimmel london, they develop products for the asian market that they don't have elsewhere. They had some lip tints or tinted balm products on yesstyle that I've never seen before, but it makes sense that they'd make products that will sell well in different countries.
A very interesting product that k-beauty has is glitter sticks. On top of my mind, brands that make these are Peripera, Twinklepop and Unleashia. Please try and review them🥺
I have that holika holika eyeshadow and love it as well (have a video that attests to its beauty) not a fan of the rare beauty lip tint, I need either the a'pieu or rom& . I'm in love with yesstyle and stylevana ❤ and I want everything 😅. 😘💖😘💖
Love my thigh society. I have the classic, and the thinner cooling ones. They are very comfortable! I get them a bit longer because I find with my body shape it keeps the short legs from riding up and avoids any mid thigh bump. I also think with any short it’s important not to get them too tight to avoid rolling up.
Thank you for sharing your new K-beauty findings! Feev blush looks very interesting to me. Talking about Moonstone - a shadow stick version feels more user friendly than a classic version.
K-Beauty has definitely cornered the lip stain market. The lasting power, nuanced colors that range from my-lips-but-better to bold/statement in varying undertones; I just find the range in k-beauty isn't matched by what we have in the western market.
Thanks for this! Especially the lip stain. I bought the Kaja Beauty one when Rare Beauty was sold out. I love the product, but it's not exactly more affordable. Will definitely be purchasing the A'Pieu version when my current one runs out!
I love this style video! I love any video that helps me save money lol, but I especially love Asian beauty. I hope you get sponsored by YesStyle again! I'd especially love to see you do more color dupes.
I’ve been waiting for this video! Please keep them coming. It would be fun if you tried an aegyo sal makeup look. Also I’ve heard about amazing concealers, especially the Luna tip concealer and The Saem cover perfection. I really want to try them
Great video! I have started to buy some Kbeauty products and enjoy them. Good quality and price point. Yes! Please do more Kbeauty videos in other categories. Thanks!!
I’d love for you to expand your interest in kbeauty test out the olive young award winners - the current tried and true/ trending beauty products in Korea as a guide for your future purchases because yesstyle can feel like taking a shot in the dark sometimes 😅😅
Niveas these blue thin lip balms are amazing can you please find and show other colours too?By the way your eye liner very nicely done, what the shades of the feev and a'pieu here?
Thank you for another succinct and d we Vicente based video. I would like yo know if there anything that I should consider as a woman entering menopause with joint hyper-mobility syndrome? I am doing all the good things 👼 but is anything that I may do or avoid to best look after my skin, nails, hair as I get older?
Calling the mentioned korean-japanese products as dupes feels just wrong... considering most of them was on the market waaaaay before the western products. I genuinely never understood the hype for the make up by mario, because I have been loving the 3CE pumping lip gloss for years, therefore it was nothing special or innovative for me. The only positive for the by mario product (or the new Mac) is the shade range You should try the romand "better than cheek" and missha "cotton blush" as an alternative for the Dior blushes
I'm also getting into K Beauty. However I will never buy from Yes Style again. I made 3 purchases from that site and the service was terrible. If you choose normal shipping service it's not traceabe and Yes Style doesn't help at all. By sheer luck and because I'm in the shipping business I was able to track mt shipments but I won't be using them again.
