@4:27 - If the dashcam driver had been sensible, he'd have moved into the middle lane where there was no traffic. *As you're supposed to do.* And not deliberately sit in the outside lane. The sheer _"I'm doing nothing wrong"_ arrogance of some drivers is unbelievable.

Me this morning, south on the M25 around 5am, traffic not too busy been a Sunday, sitting in the left lane, 53mph on cruise control limit in my truck. Thought i would count cars overtaking me and didnt move back left, i honestly lost count, 30+, it was not until a van pulled out behind me, overtook and then pulled back in front of me, thats how it should be done. Most cars just sitting in the two middle lanes, i even undertook some twat sitting in the 4th lane doing around 40mph, he veered from the slow lane in front of me, all the way across to the outside lane, i thought he had passed out of something, nope, just a muppet driver.

@@Glenn7719 MIDDLE LANE DRIVERS!! True story. On the M6 heading South. Very quiet. I'm catching a car up and in front of that car is a lorry. But it's a long way ahead. I'm in the driving lane and as I catch up to the car, it indicates to move into the middle lane. So I do likewise and then again I indicate to go into the outside lane. Car still stays in the middle lane. I go past that driver, then indicated to go back into the middle then the driving lane and I sit there for 20 seconds, before going back into the middle lane to overtake the lorry. Once past the lorry, I see that the car is still 100 yds behind the lorry in the middle lane. So why did they move into the middle lane in the beginning? 🤔🤷‍♂

There was traffic. He was overtaking it. Did you not watch the whole thing or did you not understand when the camera cut to the front view that it was the same clip?

@@johnmorris7815 he was overtaking. He did an overtake. It's right there on the footage. Hence when it went to court, the cammer didn't get in any trouble at all. BMW driver got a four figure fine and 7 points. The cammer did nothing wrong and the court agrees with that assessment.

Can be difficult to gauge when green is guna go amber when in a truck! I got caught in truro. I had prof on the microlise that I'd anticipated the red light, by slowing from 29mph to 22 mph. 10 feet from line it changed to amber, straight to red! I argued I wasn't going to stop a loaded 44t truck in 10feet at 22mph. I asked why the amber was on for half a second before a red? I also asked if the calibration is set for a car or motorcycle, or are hgv stopping distances taken into account? I was 1.2 seconds over the line! My case was dismissed as they agreed my argument! It was all on a company camera and a very detailed time stamped microlise system! Still have a clean licence thankfully

I am familiar with the junction of that last clip and it honestly is no surprise. The layout works if you know it (as the cammer seems to) but to those having to rely on sat navs or the like it can be heavy going working out exactly where you want to be to get on the Clydeside Expressway. I get why some would get on the driver's back for this but it's a lot of information to take on in a short space of time. I am more inclined to realise that and just hold back a bit - if the driver is unsure of their route they might change at short notice or otherwise appreciate the break in pressure while they figure it out. We've all been there.

0:30 WhiteCamera1 - you were really hampered by that encroaching onto that path. Clearly there was no room at all for cyclists to get through... ...oh, wait, yes there was plenty of space to share with all the other road users. Those Police Public Order carriers clearly are there because of an event/incident. They can take up the full carriageway if they like as, believe it or not, their need is greater than yours. Also they need to idle as that engine is powering ancillary electrics, radios, etc.

Police cars can have the engine on "idle" even when the cops get out and take the keys with them, it's needed to keep the APU topped up as they use considerably more electric than a normal car does. They are exempt from idling rules as are fire and ambulance.

Range Rover owner (LD12XKL) should be banned from driving for life as he is not only using his vehicle as a weapon, but he is also putting pedestrians at risk on the crossing/traffic lights.You never "brake check" by accident.

I'm sick of people jumping red lights and using roundabout like race track. I also don't like camera. But its getting to the point that all traffic lights should have cameras fitted. Anyone jumping lights should get a £500 pounds fine and 6 points on licence. If that don't stop them then the fine should go up to £1000.

I know I’m making excuses but the junctions on the M8 are in the range from grim to evil. Both my kids live in Glasgow so I regularly go see them but struggle to deal with the M8 partly because it seems to be a local rule to drive like a total dickhead. It’s no surprise that there are constant accidents in the city section, drive with some consideration and it might help. M8 was designed by Coco the clown.

Driver of number 6 (tailgating BMW) was prosecuted and got 7 points and a £1079 fine for his trouble. He was lucky he didn't get a driving ban given the brake check, as that's dangerous driving in my view. In response to the stupid commentary on the video "Why aren't the police questioning the cam footage driver"... Because he was very clearly overtaking a vehicle in the middle lane...? He wasn't trying to "provoke" anyone, he was just driving normally. Are you BLIND? If the cammer had a case to answer, it would have been answered. They didn't, so it wasn't. See how that works? Who the hell wrote that?!

#Bad honda driver using mobile, did you report this, I guess its not worth it really, I reported someone watching something on their phone, I caught them on dash cam but police did nothing, #bmw tailgating, it was asked why police didn't question someone for sitting in the outside lane, its hard to see from the footage, but it looked like the cammer was caching up to more traffic, and rather than weave in and out they decided to stay in the outside lane, albeit for a long stretch or open road. needless to say two wrong don't make a right, BMW should bit their tongue and hang back, poor driving from cammer, but extremely dangerous driving from the BMW

The comment wasn't about the cammer's speed, it was about the fact that the cammer is sitting in the outside lane when he could've gone back into the middle lane after passing the first vehicle in the clip.

@@Pailhead33the first vehicle is the car pulling the boat trailer which cammer is overtaking so would have pulled over after that, not before as no where to pull into. Just a bmw driver being a bmw 🔔END.🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️..the comment on screen infers about the cammers speed hence the original post...it even says on screen the car overtaking the car and boat at the speed limit and isn't blocking the lane,which is 100 spot on.
