I got my White Gold card yesterday. I actually changed the design of my Gold card from the Rose Gold to the White Gold because I also have 2 Business Gold cards & thought from having them now having 3 Gold designs & me having 3 Gold cards have one each so I wouldn't easily get the colors mixed up & use the wrong one. I have had the personal Gold for 6 years since it was the Premier Gold card. I really like this new White Gold design.

I just received the white gold card today and what a disappointment. The color looks awful and the card is thinner. I immediately called Amex and requested a rose gold card.

It looked like water down gold... I just decided to use the previous card. I asked customer service and they said I could keep using the previous card and not activate the new card. They said I can keep using my Gold Gold card as long as I don't activate the new card.

-Gold $2440/oz is pricier than Platinum 974/oz ( metals ) however Platinum AF $695 higher than GOLD $325 AF ( AMEX cards) Not a huge deal but Weird , right?

I don't care for it. I've had my gold and blue business for 6 years. I just like the points. I get dollar for dollar at certain restraunts. I usually average around 3k plus dollars in gift cards every year. So my family and I eat free quite a bit!

Who cares what the card looks like? You spend half the video talking about the appearance, when functionality is the predominant concern with a credit card. A waste of time.

As a platinum card holder i find this Amex offensive..it's for phony holders pretending to be platinum holders without the fees.
