Product Description:
This authentically detailed scabbard replica is a reproduction of the actual filming prop used in “The Lord Of The Rings” films presented by New Line Cinema. It is designed to fit the Sword of Eomer (UC3383). It features a solid metal chape, collar, and locket with horse heads, all finished with an antique brass-plating. The wood core is wrapped in durable PVC leather to match the look of the prop. Close attention to detail was a top priority. All officially-licensed replicas feature the film copyright notice clearly marked on the product along with a certificate to verify its authenticity.

@ET1, Castle Kon here (your collector owned UC seller!) some of them are tigher than others. However, in history scabbards were quite loose to allow for easy draw :)

Of all the RU-vidrs that present LoTR lore, I am MOST impressed by your videos. I get so much more detail, background and information on the world of Tolkien's books/movie adaptations. I'm definitely going to subscribe to your channel now! Some years back, I purchased a beautiful reproduction of Sting and bought the scabbard to go with it since I didn't want my son to get hold of the sword even though the blade is not honed. I'm happy to say that it has never glowed blue, so my neighborhood is safe from orcs.

The whole purpose of a scabbard is to secure the sword and protect it from the weather. This scabbard completely exposes the blade to the weather.

It's a valid criticism, but that's not its "whole" purpose per se; its priorities are really to secure the sword and protect its wielder / horse from the blade. Weatherproofing and rain guards are a plus, but an exposed ricasso is little different than an exposed hilt; either way, you'll want to tend to the weapon and re-oil it as soon as possible. It's potentially hazardous to a blade to keep it stored in its scabbard, so it's not like this would/should be used for long-term protection.

I think it looks cool that the sword itself is exposed in between the sheath and the handle. Practically It is exposed to rain on the blade and inside the sheath, which is probably not ideal.

I would get the scabbards if there was a proper and official wall to wall mount it next to the sword. Still though this scabbard's design is great and the idea of making it complete the horse design. Nice video dude!

It’s beautiful!! It’s a beautiful sword and scabbard, would love to have one, but don’t know if they’re affordable or expensive. As a LOTR fan would love to own this sword, not much of a fan of long swords, prefer the short and medium sized swords, Aragorn’s long sword is cool though, is the only one I like, but prefer these short sword and medium swords, it’s a beautiful collection to have.

Castle Kon here (your collector owned retailer of these swords), the whole Rohan collection would be classified as "medium" in length if Sting is "short". They are one handed and beautiful! Let us know if you want one and I'll beat any price online :)

With the collectibles, a Weta props; Middle-Earth was real enough for me. But honestly haven't watched past the 1st The Hobbit, movie. I could see where it had gone after the Azog.... decision.

Wished they stayed closer to the book in the hobbit films. Azog doesn’t even make it past the last battle of goblins and Dwarves as he’s killed by a young Dain. The CGI was definitely terrible too

I love these unboxing videos. They’re super cool. The scabbard is amazing and you should definitely find some sort of armor out there. One issue I have with the scabbard though is that it leaves part of the blade exposed. Maybe I’m wrong but wouldn’t the exposure leave it susceptible to damage and rust perhaps? Anyways great video!

The design from Weta was like this. There are many scabbards through history that actually don't fit the blades perfectly. Actually, leaving a sword in a scabbard can cause rust! Advice from Castle Kon, your collector owned UC retailer!
