Can anyone tell me the point in using different materials for gun barrels. Weight and corrosion resistance comes to mind, but is there any other benefits? I think my hdr is aluminium, but of changed it to the hd24 barrel now which is steel. I think this is more robust for steel projectiles
we change the barrel to bore match the balls for max power, dif barrels have dif inner diameter, so matching the bore with ammo is key to max power and best use of air, restricting the airflow can get you more shots at a loss of power
