Very glad that you addressed the issues around this world cup and I agree with the desison you've made, we should hold the desison makers accountable not blame the fans who are trying to be a positive representation of there country. It is ashame that we won't be able to enjoy the stuff surrounding the football but that's not our fault.

I had that England shirt (the white one, never owned the red!) when I was like 9/10 and just getting into football (girl here, I got asked to play by some lads to even teams out in the playground and I was hooked from there!). Always regretted the fact I gave away my shirts when I grew out of them and am just now starting to buy up a load of my old 'classics'. Absolutely amazing box, to me just for putting that shirt in. I know there are better ones in there but to me that is my favourite!

Thank you for the explanation of what you are doing with the WC content. I won't watch WC matches but will watch your content to support you and this channel. I know of other youtubers, that are going or have gone that haven't acknowledged what has gone on there to creating this WC and I won't watch their content any further. Stay safe in Qatar. I completely agree with your stance on the World Cup Ellis. I love football, I can't not watch a World Cup. However, I think it's important to talk about the reasons why this one is different for all the wrong reasons off the field. As long as this doesn't work as a perfect PR event for Qatar off the pitch while the human rights issues persist in the country, there's no harm in enjoying the football and content around it. Looking forward to seeing your content from the tournament!

Really excited about the World Cup Vlogs, but be careful vlogging there. Qatar is really strict about what you can and cannot film. Simon Wilson made a video in Qatar a few weeks ago visiting all the stadiums in one day and the security kept telling him not to film or photograph the stadiums. Also, there was a news show in Denmark that was told not to film although they had permits. I hope it is not as strict while you are there. Cheers!

fair play to you for statement at the end. in my mind the options were: 1. cash in. work with the tournament (similar content to the Women's Euros) 2. miss out, cover the other football that's on over the next month which inevitably won't generate the same views/opportunities. you've found a sort of happy medium here. you've stayed true to your own moral compass, whilst providing us with the content. looking forward to seeing it!

That Japan shirt (albeit short-sleeved) was the very first shirt I got with customized printing. The shirt survives to this day but the printing... ...does too, but it's no longer pristine due to the march of time. It's been worn quite a few times, too.

Utmost respect for how you've explained yourself, Ellis. Not that you'd have to, but like you say, it's your job, not going could compromise any future content going forward. More respect for not taking money off the state. Hard for me not to go, I went to Russia spontaneously (not that Russia was perfect either) and had always said I'd attend every tournament thereafter but couldn't bring myself to it with the human rights issues - so buzzed for you that it's your first.
