GraysonHobby has the new the release of new RadioMaster ExpressLRS Hardware. We explain that earlier versions of the software had some issues, but the new radios released by RadioMaster have addressed these issues by working closely with the ExpressLRS Developers. The new radios are available with one watt maximum power, advanced cooling features, and support up to the latest 1000 Hertz high speed connection. GraysonHobby also recommends updating the Lewis script on the radio to V3, and upgrading to htx 2.7.1 to get the most out of the new radios.

Yesterday Radio Master issued a statement to not use the XT30 port on the Nano and Micro versions. They stated that it is fine to power these units via the radio but not to use the XT30 port as it has apparently damaged some users radios. They will be redesigning the board and will be shipping replacements out to dealers and folks who bought directly from them in the coming weeks. This issue does not affect the Larger Ranger module.

You guys should make a video on how to install inverted motors on a pusher quad, installing the props and setting it up in Betaflight. I could not find any that teach people in the hobby about building pusher quads. There are a lot of reviews but not bulding one.

First thing I'd do with a Boxer when I got it home would be to erase EdgeT-X and flash an Open-TX target onto it. Because Edge-TX don't work with Open-TX Companion, and that's a deal killer. Edge TX Games and a touch screen code aren't going to matter at all on a Boxer. Sell the NetDot12 L USB 3pack charge cables, thats what I use exclusively with my Radiomasters.. with a cheap Chiensee 7 port hub with switches on each port to turn on and off. The Radiomasters won't power on if the USB cables are plugged in, so I use the hub to swtich both cables off, power up the unit, then switch them back on again. It's stuoopid and a pain but it's the only way to do it, or you're plugging the USB-A side cable into and out of your computerall the friggin time. Always plug and unplug the cable on the USB-A side.

What you need to do is have a pair each of demo models of goggles on like a chain at a counter for people to come in and try on and see if they are right for them. If I could of done that with the DJI V1 goggles, I would of never, ever bought them because I've hated them since I opened the box and only used them once. That would actually get me to visit a hobby store in person, even when it was 150 miles away. Everything else, stick one of each under a glass display case so we can drool over it. Or in plastic baggies on the wall on hooks is better, so we can bee line right to it and grab it, ring it up at the cash register, and go.

Does this have an advantage over crossfire?

The advantage is that ELRS is open source. So there are more developers making the system better with more feedback to help update. I love crossfire! It simply works and is easy to update. I have Crossfire on my fixed wings and my quads and have used the system for long range and racing. TBS also has been a company that has made FPV products since the beginning and has been a company that has made it while others have come and gone. But i also have ELRS and I can say that both systems are great and work excellent. I do prefer my Crossfire over ELRS for long range FPV on fixed wings I have flown over 15 miles. But I also like the tiny receivers that you can get at a cheaper price for ELRS. So I think its really a question of budget and what you want to do with them.

@@vick-hy7tw I put crossfire on my DX9 Black Edition back when spektrum released what pins to solder to and a firmware update to run it back in 2018. I havent updated my crossfire firmware since i got it and am on version 2.18 and i just saw their latest update was like 6.15 or something. It works great now and i have never had a failsafe the whole time ive had it, i had failsafes constantly on spektrum. Is their any benefits to upgrade it to the latest versions?
