I'm editing my comment so viewers have a better idea. I use motors like scorpion, sunnysky, eflite, hacker etc. I bought a Surpass for my 48" extreme flight and it impressed me so much I bought a few larger sizes to try. The quality and the windings are excellent. The prices are great and was the number one reason why I tried it. Give one a try and see for yourself!!:)
you can put a radiomaster tx16s board inside , some mods, thats what i'm doing soon when i receive then board. screwed up the jumper board. Then tx16 board only cost me £30.00
Working on setting mine up. One suggestion (yes, I bench tested with the prop on and I’m glad you mentioned taking the prop off) when my radio boots and plane is plugged in the transmitter displays a message to move all switches to the up position. I am reversing my throttle idle switch so that up is off. Great video! I learned at least two things I did wrong.
You guys seemed to be the only ones there who had any of the newer tech, Wheres all the drones? Vtol's? This hobby really needs to get upto speed, here at the airfield in Quartzite Arizona we get travelers from all over the world coming to fly and we still see tons of old RC planes. Most are old guys flying old stuff but theres not many people my age which is surprising but it seems folks my age (42) seem to keep to flying on their own vs coming to an airfield
Over 250 grams so you need to tell your customers they will have to have REMOTE ID module installed if they fly outside a FAA FRIA /CBO club field BUT because Both of those things are a HUGE NO....for most , it is a No Go for me as well
I wonder what they would look like painted??? Might not stand out so much. They work pretty well. My balsa and monocoat is more scale and the wheel base is narrow making both take off and landing much more difficult that this dw version.
hi i own a extra 200 bnf with ar 631 receiver, when i bind without safe mode, the AS3x does not come on even after 25% throttle. I don't have any programming for it set up either
You guys are really good with these quads. My hobby store only knows how to sell stuff. I haven’t flown my quad in 5 or 6 years and nobody knows how to bind it. Di you have a solution for binding. I saw you have a product that majes it easy. I’m interested.
Guys. I have R88 with SBUS connection to FC and I use TX16. I want to add 2 servos for cam movement with Skyzone gougles. Where do I plug those servos (If my 8 chanels are taken by flight control)?
Does the ER5A receiver only operate in ELRS mode? As in if I had a 4 in 1 TX16 I'd have to purchase the ELRS module that goes in the back to use this line of receivers?
I flew this wing on a 3 cell 1300. IT NEEDS A THICK CARBON SPAR ON TOP (ask me how I know) And use the STOCK PROP to prevent flutter (This wing will shake itself to DEATH on high speeds- again, ask me how I know) There is PLENTY of thrust on a 3S with the stock prop.
When did just haviing fun go out of style? (other comments) I have the ability so I prefer to scratch build but I'd sure recommend this to someone was shy about foam board and razor knives.
Great, I have a problem setting up my AeroScout with the AR631 RX. The elevator on CH2 isn't moving whereas all the other functions work with the TX16S Max. The AS3X and SAFE work on the ailerons and rudder but nothing on the elevator.
