Your ping was better on the xfiinity router tho. For gaming , latency is better. I use gigabyte fiber and my ping is 6 and download and upload are about 980 mb/sec. Nothing can beat fibers latency (ping) and symmetrical uploads. There is simply nothing better than fiber.

Lol you ran the speed test directly next to your router. Try on the other side of the house. Hopefullly you were smart enough to select the right, centralized location to supply adequate coverage throughout the house. The high gain antennas will help a bit with that if not, at least. Also, that hole where your ISP or your husband drilled the outlet looks bad. Right above the trim so a standard wallplate wont fit correctly. Your router isnt true WiFi6 (6 GHz bandwidth) unless it's a "WiFi6-e" by the way. Yours is 802.11ax which is just the WiFi6 standard using higher modulation and the 802.11ax standard. Even the Spectrum WiFi6-e router has beamforming and true 6GHz bandwidth utilization. Regardless, it wont matter if your devices aren't WiFi6/6-e compatible. You should just install CAT6 homeruns to every room like I did in my house, put yourself some little 8 Port Nethear Gbe switches in each room, and go with a WiFi6-e mesh so you can have WAP's throughout the home and everything possible connected via LAN. On your phone, does the WiFi symbol up top in the notification panel show a "6" in the middle when you connect with your Xfinity router? Just curious. Also, do you know if your Comcast circuit is FTTP (fiber to the premise) or if you're modem is connected using coax cable (Hybrid Fiber Coax area)? Many people believe that you have to have fiber to get gigabit internet speeds, or symmetrical upload/download speeds above 500 Mbps but that isnt the case. Many cable companies use HFC architecture in high-split configurations for DOCSIS 3.1 and DOCSIS 4.0 which utilize OFDM/OFDMA modulation allowing symmetrical Gigabit speeds over coax.
