Ughh, I’m getting flashbacks of my experiences where I purchased and returned two brand new classic flaps from the boutiques. 🤦🏻‍♀️ They both had issues - one with a popped stitch and the other with bubbled lining. I got so tired of it and wound up going vintage instead! So glad to see you were able to exchange for a beautiful one! 💕

I‘ve had my fair share of Chanel quality issues. The stitching on the back of my Jumbo has come loose after only having worn it 4-5 times. Kinda sucks when you drop so much money on a bag but fortunately Chanel took care of it.

CHANEL medium double flap bags are made in France. I too, had quality issues when I purchased my Jumbo through Neiman Marcus four years ago. The grommets were tarnished. At the time, the cost of the bag was $5500, now it is $7100-geesh. The issue I have with CHANEL is their handbags are increasing rapidly in price, while the quality has worsened. I am not sure why people continue to purchase full retail price for CHANEL handbags, but the company needs to address the quality issues, especially with the continuous price increase.

I also got the M/L Classic flap and Now I am checking the Chain all the time and saw that there is some minor fraying on the chain but I am Not Sure if this is normal „wear and Tear“ 🙄

Just got the same bag! Mine is from France too. Had to exchange as my 1st one came with no protective hard cover and there were scratches all over the turnlock. I was able to go in to exchange and I snagged a new one that came right off the white box like yours. Only thing is the 1st one was a lot puffier so I was sad but my 2nd one looks exactly like yours in puffiness. So I feel better now haha. Thank you!

That actually happened to me, no issues at all with mine, it was for different reason, but SA offered the same as they offered you, she did send me a screenshot of the computer that had zero in stock. Then, had the option to stay with it or return it;).congrats on your bag it is beautiful!!!
