I've had this watch for a year now and it's awesome :) a true modern day classic with a amazing story behind it' a 100 years from now this watch will still captivate watch enthusiasts the blue dial is memorising on a mid summers day beautiful timepiece by citizen oner there best.
honestly they're all fantastic. i just bought the black dial/green bezel with metal bracelet. what a watch. good looking, comfy, accurate, cheap... HELL you have something valuable there. hard to find a best bang for buck than this one.
This watch is just amazing. I've had mine for over a year now and it's worth every cent. Easy to change straps to fit your lifestyle, very legible, great lume and my bezel lines up perfectly. I much prefer the bezel action on this promaster over the seiko divers at this price range and over the Orient kamasu/ray/mako. Easy to turn with little to no playback. Since the day and date display at 3 is black, it blends nicely into the dial. The dimensions fits my 6.5 inch wrist very well. For me it definitely wears smaller than 41.5mm diameter. Not thick as well for a diver. Imo, this watch is kinda like the seiko monster in the way that it's kinda ugly but beautiful. It's a great watch.
I just bought a black one not too long ago I didn’t know they were discontinued I got it for 100 bucks off the seller on eBay I bought it right after they discontinued the SKX And the prices were crazy on those I almost bought an NH series But I like this because it had 200 m of water resistance And screw down crown in a lot of ways I like it better than a seiko SKX I think because there are less common but every bit The heritage
Please can you measure the exact crystal size and tell me.i want to buy a tempered glass for the watch crystal in order ro make sure it doesn't scratch in long term.
I have this exact watch and almost sold it because I didnt love it for the first few months... But as soon as I put it on a steel shark mesh bracelet I loved it, it is now a keeper.

Just got back from Iceland to the uk , put on my phone RU-vid and I just got notified about your show , can’t believe you got rid of this watch you must be nuts it’s a cracking watch , almost bought it myself but bought the skx instead , can see me getting one soon , and the amazon warehouse is 15 mins from my house , if I’m lucky I’ll get it the same day as ordering . It’s very nice. Everything lines up nice. Wish my SKX007 did. I go one of the Fubu special editions last year, the NY-0080 (Black dial/Bezel) Version. It’s has the same non-hacking movement. I personally like the Fubu better, I like the baton markers better. That, however, is a matter of opinion.
That Fugu 0080 is a nice watch. Marshall time reviewed that one recently. Really like it. I hear you on your SKX misalignment, as do many others 🙄 Cheers 😁👍👊

I bought the same model about 3 months ago and can't decide whether to keep it or not! I love Citizen divers, but this one runs +30 per day. It's ok, not my favorite though.
Hi sir. I have question because you had the mini turtle. What wears smaller or looks smaller on the wrist the mini turtle or the citizen ny0040. Thank you in advance.
They are very similar in size. That's a great question. Maybe the mini Turtle appears larger because of the 3oclock crown position. But overall, they feel very similar in size on the wrist. The mini Turtle does have a very compact lug to lug.
@@OFD Thanks for your reply. I wanted to buy the mini turtle but since I can only buy it online and can't try it on, I was a bit worried. I tried on the Citizen ny0040. So as I understood from you, the difference in size is small. Btw I have small wrists 6.25 inches.
I never cared that this watch was not hacking and the SKX was hacking. Hack the SKX and within a day it's going to be off by 20 to 30 seconds. So, what's the big deal if it hacks? I'll take hand winding over hacking any day. The Citizen NY0070 is superior to the Seiko SKX in every way. Including accuracy.
I understand 🤣 Us dive watch guys and gals are a really wierd bunch!! I'd say 99.6% of dive watch guys don't "dive". I don't even like swimming in the Ocean 🤣🤣
I love that watch and have it in the permanent collection for about a decade it was standard Italian Navy issue. I am not certain on the packaging as it was rearly sold in the US market outside of internet sales 😁. Most US citizens dealers sell the quartz pro master model essentially a sport watch which has 100 ft less water resistance and lacks a screw down crown. It can be found in department stores and outside the citizens aviation style nighthawk are the best selling line. It is the watch that the new Seiko 5 Skx replacement is designed compete against.
Pf haha Diver watches are piece of Art! You can't realise it, because you aren't a true watch lover! It's pretty much the same with cars. You can own a big useless SUV, but you can't get over a unique diver?
