Hey gang,
You know the deal by now - I work for a company that buys and sells comics books (www.sellmycomicbooks.com) and it's my job to grade the issues we sell as "raw singles" on eBay (seller name: dotcomcomics).
I never have any idea what is in any box I’m given to grade. Thus, I invite you to look over my shoulder as I make the discovery of what my day will entail. It’s always a good time as we re-discover some great old comic books and recount stories about all the amazing worlds that were!

Super Booger!! Great old DC comics. Enemy Ace had a regular feature in Star Spangled War Stories for about 12 issues before Unkown Soldier took over the series.

Super Booger! I liked the GI Combat books. I was a weird kid that didn't really like super heros but collected the DC war comics. I got a full run of Our Army at War/Sgt. Rock. Love the Joe Kubert war covers. Take care

Wow!!! Love the silver age stuff. Just happened to have bought a load of Superman/Lois Lane/World's Finest books which included Lois Lane 70, first siver age Catwoman and the super booger slap of the century (last century )World's Finest #155 I think it is,when Batman slaps Robin. Great show again Duke...love the content and your ever astounding knowledge.Pete.

Super booger! I enjoy the unboxing videos. I am a big fan of the JSA/JLA annual teamups. I also like the legion who are currently appearing in the young justice cartoons on HBO Max.

Super booger, Enemy Ace was the cover/star of Star-Spangled War Stories 138 to 150. He was then replaced by Unknown Soldier. Looking forward to the ECs!

Sad that the DC videos don't get the same views. Love the Silver Age DC's. Fortunately, because of this fact, if you are patient and willing to accept 1.8/1.5's or even incomplete copies it is possible to put together a run of this classic stuff with a modest budget. (Maybe a once a year splurge for a key here and there.) Nice little Flashy surprise at the end of the video! Love it! Super booger!

I've decided to collect the cooler covers that were published in 1967, my birth year, and those checkerboard border DCs were from that time.

Hey! I also am a 1967 model! Although I came in toward the tail end of the year. But still, good to meet another Summer of Love baby! The Go-Go Checks ran on DC books (some of them anyway) cover-dated February 1966 to September 1967 (more precisely, books that went on sale December 23, 1965, to June 1, 1967). The first was ACTION COMICS #333 (and other books that went on sale that day), The last were ADVENTURES OF BOB HOPE #106 and THE ATOM #32.

Hi Duke, finally another great video. You can never talk too much about the Legion since I am a big LOSH fan, myself. They had really great covers back in the day. I really like those Neal Adams covers. If you look for a pirate book then check out the new Marauders series from Marvel. Issue 1 just came out. Super Booger and have some nice easter hollidays.

🤗😋SoUPERrrr BOObly GERls indeed Duke! 😋Yum yum dishes to optically digest! 😱Three are blondes! But it can't be helped I find them adorable : Supergirl ( especially during Bob Oksner's run) , Dumb Bunny ( The Inferior 5 being my #3 favorite DC Silver Age team) and Blondie , one of my all time favorite strips , 🙄 comic strips 🤔 however seeing her ... anyway Penny Singleton and Arthur Lake both in films and on the radio show 👍💥! Many comic "experts" dismiss Blondie as a routine feature nothing notable about it! 🤓Ahh their ignorance is entertaining! Blondie was ahead of its time in the Sunday pages before Li'l Abner and Dennis The Menace in the 1950s depicted a married couple sleeping together Blondie was presenting that taboo even earlier! A comic strip that was beloved by millions and was usually the leading strip in the Sunday papers presenting to the public what neither films nor television could. 😋Now back to the souper slurperb sexies! 😍Lana, Lighting Lass , Shadow Lass ( 🤗both lasserating me with their loveliness!) and Lara El , Superman's sexxxy mom in that yellow dress on the cover of Jimmy Olsen!!! The Red Tornado was DCs answer to The Vision at that time otherwise I believe Ma Hunkle may have appeared before the Batmania camp craze disappeared. 🤗Love those Flash issues , Barry Allen was my #1 DC hero!

Dudley Do-Right would always say "Ah-Nells" but only when addressing her, probably not a catch phrase and said to Snidely Whiplash "ill catch you" or "I'll get you Snidely Whiplash", which would be better as a catch phrase. But not to get to far off point is the fact that I preferred Go Go Gophers to Dudley Do-Right on the Bullwinkle and Rocky show. And it (GGG) had a better theme song. Are you guys running out of Gold keys on the east coast, because I haven't seen any in a while? I'm sorry I'll stop picking on you, I know you can't control the comic flow, keep up the good work and remember always use Kryptonite when dealing with Super Boogers.

I agree, GGG were the BEST! Probably couldn't use them today, people would claim it was an insensitive stereotype, I bet. It's true we have not had as many Gold Keys come though lately. But in truth, we tend not to get too excited about buying them as they don't sell terribly well. Way, way, way below guide in most cases. When we get Gold Keys (and Dell books) it's usually because we've bought an entire collection that happened to have some in it, but what we bought the collection for was the Marvels (and maybe the DCs, depending).
