Sorry I upgraded my phone so I had no idea I had replies. Yeah Canadian dollar is down like 35 cents to USD so it's quite expensive. As for it being a limited run it probably is. I'm unsure how many they made but being $400 it probably wasn't many.

If the 4th statue was strife and not vulgrum i would actually probably have bought this. Having 3 of the 4 horsemen is a tad disappointing. But i still love the series and already pre ordered 3. And praying it gets a 4th game with strife.

Unless you want to support the devs as much as possible and have the means or are heavily into the statues there is nothing that justifies $400 in that box.

@@franlomas2010 lmao you apparently don't know how business works. Those statues probably cost less than 75 dollars to make especially if they got a bulk deal. Nobody makes something like this at a loss of profit....if anything the increase in collectors items over the past decade shows that a lot of profit can be made from a few statues or piece of gear....

@@deletekeys there is this thing called novelty value. the same as a first issue of a comic book can cost hundreds of dollars when the real value is probably just few bucks. all collectors edition will be priced more than the real value. singling out darksiders is unfair. if u dont like it, then dont buy it. no need to be a smartass.

$60 game + steelcase $70-$80? $60-70? figures. 4x = about $240-$280 $20-30? artbook $15-25? Wall Scroll $5-10? Keychain $10-15? Soundtrack Just my assumption based off the market... so yeah.. solid $400. Is it a good chunk of money? Heck yeah. Is it worth it? Sure, but also depends how big of a fan you are and how badly you want it. Plus, also limited so value will more than likely go up.

Being simply a collectors item it gains more value then what it's worth so again, the devs make way more in profit than they spend making the statues to begin with. And again unless its your thing to collect statues as I stated from the get go. Nothing in this package justifies $400. Next time read the entire thread before making yourself look like a moron by stating the obvious.

EEEYYYYYY!! It's that girl who did the super-real Fury cosplays! So you've done a Fury cosplay, your boyfriend has a Death cosplay, now you need a third person to do a War cosplay! XD Btw, Vulgrim's wings aren't "chicken wings". He used to have normal wings like every demon, but somebody who didn't like him literally ripped them off of his back.Those "chicken wings" are all that's left of his pride as a demon.

I kinda wish they put death with the abyssal armor. I've always hated the stock death. He was just to scrawny. Also I wish that instead of vilgrum it would be the 4th horseman just incase that it doesn't get a 4th. Or if it does that edition can come with the statue

I don't understand why Strife isn't in the box. It's not like no one already knows how he's looking. His design is known now for years... Hope you can buy the figures separately .... 400 bucks is a way to much for what's offered. Well... you already can buy a figure of Death... but 80 bucks for this size and quality is also too much.

Also most figures sell for 150 apiece then the game which is usually 60 plus sound track plus wall hanger..so it actually seems cheaper than it should be

They're not gonna add weathering if the original character design had pristine armor. Both Fury and War's armor are in pretty good clean condition in the games.

you're not lying about needing to be careful!!! I just got mine and i just broke it ..... took me like 2-3mins to figure out i had to take off the end of the handle and once it was on the statue fell over and the whip broke at the top of the handle...sidenote my Vulgrim statue didnt come witht he stick needed to prop him up and your fury statue looks way darker than mine

I also just broke my whip in half and then found out about the bottom piece, but there's a notch on the inside that lines up with the space on the glass clear plastic piece that it attaches to. Once you take off the end cap there's three notches with a space for a fourth the fourth one is inside the end cap. Hope this helps.

I had it pre-ordered but cancelled it because I didn't think they looked that great. The death figure is already available and there is a much better one released in the past. I really only want the war figure anyway.

I see two more games in the future . I've always have since I played the first Darksiders. You have the Four Horsemen. Individual games. Then you have all four of them together to solve the whole situation and bring the entire story to a close. Now as far as the collector's edition. I know they can't look far into the future, but they should have waited for this collector's edition. $400 price tag SMH. Now it would have been worth it if they waited till the fifth game was released. Make it 500 dollars, but instead you have all four horsemen, posters for every single Darksiders game, download code for all games, in Ultimate art book that features art from across all 5 games , the pendant, in the ultimate soundtrack across all five games. Then I can see myself paying the money. $400 though for this you don't even get all the games. They have another Edition where you get download codes for the other games, but you want me to pay a $400 price tag for all these statues and you don't even include the previous games on the download code. Ridiculous to say the least.

That's such a bummer that one of the figures is Vulgrim. They are the FOUR horseman. You'd think they would have a design in mind seeing as THQ Nordic have just obtained the franchise. Especially as there is a silhouette of Strife in Darksiders 1 :(
