the foam sleeve is for wet pick up you remove the cartridge filter and use the foam for water pick up . The foam can go under the pleated paper filter if you prefer for dry
This was the 3rd video I watched b4 enough time was taken to each item item that I could follow and do myself. Yes I am a female and this is my first shopvac. So thank you.
Thank you so much, I've had this shop vac in my garage for about 4 ish years and finally took it out of the box to set it up. I appreciate your step by step guide on setting it up. Thanks
Great video, hope they haven't changed this too much since my recent purchase. As we all know quality goes down the more recent the manufacturing date. Pretty soon all you will get is the hose and they will expect you to suck the dirt up with your mouth. I'm getting ready to unbox mine and I have heard they no longer have the paper instruction booklet. I guess a hard copy of instructions is just too much to expect these days. Ugh. My only concern is snapping the casters in as I just don't have the hand strength anymore. Looks pretty straight forward.
This is a great video except ShopVac has changed what the tool holder looks like and where it attaches to the unit. Instead of snapping on the plastic J hooks beside the motor, the tool holder has been relocated to the bottom. The real kicker is there is nothing in the paperwork to tell you the change was made. I had to call customer service. Now you have to flip the unit upside down and look for two holes, line the holes up, slide it on and screw it in place with two screws. I hope this helps anyone else who bought this vacuum since the change was made.
That black that you hooked the wheels into is not on mine. I have the stainless steel one 12 gal did u have to put that on or did the piece that goes all the way around the bottom come on already that the wheels go on ??? Because evidently I’ll have to take mine back. Just goes with the already horrible damn day I’m having. No surprise
How do you mount the hose when not in use? Also, center of the accessory holder should be snapped UNDER the rim of the top after inserting the taps. The instructions for this vacuum SUCK! Thanks for the video.
Yes it does. Make sure you purchase the LG or large Hepa filter for this W/D vacuum. There are also two types of vacuum bags, one is for standard vacuuming of your everyday dirt the other is for fine particulate materials like drywall dust. The bags give it an extra layer of filtration. There is nothing more frustrating than vacuuming and having the pleated filter clog up. Using these bags will extend the life of your pleated filter. There are 2 bags per pack at around 12.00 per pack, they are not cheap by no means.
Everything you instructed on the video work👍🏾, but the only issue is my shop vac didn’t have the wheel set up that was shown in the video. It looks like it’s individual. How can I find the set up the individual?🤔🫤
I have this same vac im online looking to see if i can put a 2.5in hose on this vac because the 1.5in isnt good for anything but vacuming a car always gets cloged so if anyone knows if the bigger hose will fit let me know
