In 1971 the Ford Mustang underwent a fairly radical transformation: larger dimensions, more weight and a rather different spirit than in the recent past. In any case, the look remained impressive as well as the aggressive charge remained intact, perhaps for the last time in the history of the Mustang. This series remained in production until 1973, with various versions: 6-cylinder (Coupé and Cabriolet), V8 (Mach 1, Boss 351) and so on.
