Dude, no joke that sponsor was on point. I recently got diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and I remembered one of your previous vids being sponsored by Magicspoon, so now I'll be able to enjoy cereal again! I should've waited to have it ordered, but still, thank you! Also thanks for giving me an unboxing vid to watch while I'm in the hospital, keep up the amazing work!
Yes, yes, yes! Absolutely! Great to see a baritone signature! I'm in! Flat black and purple ash-blasted top versions would be so cool!!! Congratulations!
The most surprising part of this video… the cereal. I need that almost as much as the Super Kraken! Love the new sig, not a fan of the sand blasted look usually but the purple does work well!
I'll be looking for one of those baritones when they come out. I would love to try it with Seymour Duncan Whole Lotta Humbuckers and they Jimmy Page 4 push/pull mod like I have on my Gibson Les Paul, cuz I already get the best tones I've ever heard from that guitar, but can only imagine how it would work out on a baritone.
Harley Benton actually has some VERY good priced baritone guitars. Never seen, nor played...nor even heard one, so take that for what it is worth. Also remember when it comes to baritone guitars there are MANY options available that effect a LOT, scale length, fan fret, and such. Baritone guitars are an entire beast unto themselves.
I' m 1,000,000% wait to pre order each model your guitar done saved up . I have money in hand ready to order , just hope scalpers don't snag them all like last time .. Also just started using the max grips a few weeks ago and I love them !!
I damn sure want one of them baritones. There are nowhere near enough longer scale singlecuts out there, and even less cost efficient ones out there. Please, please, PLEASE help a fellow Singlecult clergyman out.
I've been interested in Victory for so long. It's been really cool seeing them grow and seeing the new products. I'm also really digging the baritone. It looks so good and sounds awesome.
I reaaaaaaallllly really love that baritone!!! I’m just scared that I won’t have enough time to save up once they’re out :( I really do want one so bad
Awesome looking Harley Benton!! Love that sandblast look. Just wish they would come out with a sandblasted Jazzmaster like Jim Roots red one. Wonder why Fender didn't release it as a signature because that thing would've flown off the shelves.
That baritone and those cleans are pretty nice, I use EB prodigy picks mainly but I always loved Dunlop picks the green 1.25s, so I might try the max grips.
@@Timjohnrob I got a Jackson dinky js12 and I'm currently buying a Harley Benton P bass I'm modding with EMGs I miss my old lawsuit era Ibanez Roadstar II RB650 p bass I used to own.
@@Highrollinhunter I had an Ibanez Roadstar 530 (I think was the model) when I was like 17, I got from a Pawn shop in Ohio and wish I still had it. I also have a Tim Henson Thbb10 Ibanez the Mark Holcomb walnut 7 string PRS also a couple others but I've been abstaining from buying anymore lately. One of my Ltd.'s WA models I put the Hetfield EMG's in and it looks pretty awesome. sorry I had to nerd out with ya just love the gear lol.
You can go down to as low as drop F on a 28 and still have good intonation and it's a 6 string so if you ain't into 8 strings it's a good option any lower like drop E 30 and longer
I'm not an Amp guy but with how nice that victory looks I might be changing my mind, thanks for the great video and I hope you have a great day today 😁
Between the EC1000 baritones finally hitting the shelves and your sig baritone (and the fact that the Gretsch Baritone exists), it’s a really great time to be a single-cut and a baritone lover. Def can’t wait for the official drop for your sigs, man. They look so good.
I'm a Flying V lover I wish some can make a 28 inch baritone Flying V with 24 frets and Fishman fluence modern pickups or an Flying V bass with an active preamp.
@@Highrollinhunter I feel ya, man. I wish more brands would do Flying V or Explorer baritones as well. An Epi version of either would be great, but unfortunately I don't see that happening soon, so currently the only way to get those with those specs are going the semi-custom or custom route.
I'm excited about it! And you were actually right about changing the natural back now that I see them side by side! I really hope there's a black & neon green one for guys like me who mostly just want a baritone for playing Type O Negative covers on! 😅
I'm using a tortoise shell pick that was made in the mid 1960's. It was given to me by my guitar teacher and I use it a lot. Other than that, I use picks from Guitar Center that I sand the gloss off of with some 2000 grit sandpaper.
would preorder the longboi instantly perfect specs for what I do! great that its 28" I like to tune low but im not a solo guy so 6 strings is enough and this looks super good!
Love it!! The clean tone even sounded decent, especially; for being tuned to drop A. I think I do like the lighter slightly better on the back of the guitar.
Make a bunch!! I’d buy it in a heartbeat! The aesthetic is SICK! Love the sand blasted top, the purple is a great color choice, matte pups and the pots make the whole thing very pleasing, you got a buyer here dude! 🤘🏻
I switched to a carbon jazz 3 a few months ago, after playing a more “normal” sized standard pick for years (as well as hardwood picks I made myself from local species of trees) and I love the carbon jazz3 picks now. They play so nicely. I have been so surprised by how much I notice the playing experience
I use Max Grip Jazz III picks for years now. My favourite is the red jazz III Max Grips . There's 3 main types : Nylon (Red), Stiffo (much stiffer Nylon material), Carbon Fiber.
I still wish for a harley benton EX spec style flying v. or make a higher end Warlock, beast or mockingbird. Also the EVH amps had their power swithch on the back too.
I'll second an upgrade to HB's BC Rich copies, but Hunter doesn't like pointy guitars, so I don't think he's the guy they should go to for that. But those things definitely need a headstock redesign, higher spec, and more varied colour options.
I've been using carbon fiber max grip jazz iii's for about two years now. Very durable material, in the perfect shape with a rock solid grip texture! I've crossed the event horizon and will never be going back!
If the signature is affordable enough, I expect that it'll sell out quick. The market for affordable baritone guitars seems to going up as bands like Loathe are getting more popular. The Squier baritone Jazzmaster went from like $300 to over $900 on the used market recently. I'm not gonna lie, I'm interested in seeing what the hype is all about myself
Very excited about the signature guitars, baritone version included. I do have to say that I think the back looked better on the model that let you see that beautiful roasted maple as opposed to the finish on the back of the baritone. I know it's the back of the guitar so it's not the end of the world, but that's just like my opinion..man
I think I found my first baritone guitar. And those max grip picks are all I use now. I've always had a problem with smooth picks just flying out of my hand or getting turned around really easily. The max grip ones solve those problems for me, really good for fast chugging.
i've been thinking about a baritone guitar for a while now and i think i might be sold now... i need one. purple is my favorite color and those look absolute fire
