Wow! That’s impressive! I want to start on her so badly but Ive made myself a no start ruled for August and it’s only the 5th and I think if anything warrants breaking that rule, it’s this painting. Good luck to you on yours!

Thanks! In looking at the symbol sheet, I think that probably makes the most sense as well. Ive just always done everything in DMC order and I am such a creature of habit! But I think with this many symbols I’m going to have to be more creative.
Congratulations!!!! And yes, I was surprised at how quickly I got used to where all those colors are And the symbols are so nice and clear! I wish DPD was in the US so I could afford to order so many more from them! Since this order, I have also gotten The Three Graces, and another very large landscape that I am loving working on with 180 colors. I can’t say enough good things about everything about their kits. Will you do another from them?
I did a Joesaphine Wall and couldnt complain the drill are first class ont worry about the simbles you get use to them .lkitted up this way you have the bags l started with the first to the third bag didnt have any trouble couldnt be bothered with all that mucking around enjoy your painting
Good luck on finishing the painting. I believe you do have the right amount of labels for the colors. Maybe one day I will have the courage to do a painting this big and with so many colors.
Yup, they’re all there. I guess it just didn’t look like that many to me at first. Ill be honest, I am intimidated by it, but at the same time, I know it will be one that I will always cherish just because of the symbolism.
I've now completed 4 and on my 5th Josephine wall from dpd I love love love them I have quite a little stash of them now and what's nice is they use the same symbols for the same colours No matter which Josephine wall picture you do so I now know the symbols and colours well
That is wonderful to know. The round drills look beautiful and very high quality. I will definitely be purchasing another Josephine Wall from them and will get it in square next time. Since this was my first purchase and is my dream canvas, I just didn’t want to risk it. I am in awe that you have done that many of them….. I would love to see a picture of them completed. I am sure they are stunning works of art. And also, thanks for letting me know about the symbols. I think it’s very smart that they would do that. I’m sure that even though it seems overwhelming at first, I will get used to having so many colors. Would you mind telling me how you organized your drills? Did you go in DMC order, by color, by symbols shape, or some other way? I want to put a lot of thought into it since I’ll be working with them for quite a while.
How exciting!! It is beautiful!!!!💜💎💜I have had my J. Wall hanging on a hanger on my wall..still haven't got the courage to start it.lol.. I too have round drills!! As I work on a slanting small table, I am hoping I can gently roll each end on pool noodles and it won't mess up the double sided tape. 🙏🤞 I am going to organize by subjects like so many others have..seems to work the best. I didn't think I had all the stickers too..I counted and I did have them all..lol!
That’s a good idea about hanging it. I will consult my resident handyman and see if I can get him to rig me something up. To be honest, I’m running out of wall space in my craft room🤣! Funny how it really didn’t look like enough stickers, isn’t it? I think you should just start it! I’m actually giving myself permission for this one small exception to my no start for August rule. I just cannot resist!
Hi Angela, Katie at diamond and washi has a couple videos about kitting up a huge painting like this. It’s under her painting with the masters. I think she said it took her about 8 hours. She did robes how she organized her drills. They may be helpful.
I purchased my Josephine Wall diamond painting "Water of Life" from Uniquely Yours Downunder" after doing research on all 3 companies that sell her licensed art work. I found that this company is half-way between Diamond Art Club and the German company in price and in # of colors. I wish you well with your painting and know that you ARE up to the challenge!!!! That one is beautiful! I also purchased one from Uniquely Yours Down Under! I got The Three Graces and it has 200 colors. I wanted to compare the two companies from the same artist at about the same sizes and colors. Don’t know when I’ll get to that one though, Diana is one that I’ve been pining after for a long time. You're more than capable of doing a DP of this level so maybe that's why you didn't purchase it earlier. Your subconscious knows you're now ready. It's full-on, so huge. I think annoying that a company charges a lot still use DSA. Thanks for pulling the paper down so we could see the DP. I know how careful you have to be so appreciated that. I laughed when you said you really wanted to begin this one. I thought to myself, don't you dare start it Angie. But when you said you were shaking in anticipation of doing it I figured well if that's not an excuse to break the rule and begin this one, then you probably just need to begin. I'll turn a blind eye. Hahaha. How are you feeling anyways Angie. Hopefully starting to pick up.
I am feeling sooooo much better, thanks for asking. Feeling exactly back to my old self again and I couldn’t be happier about it. It’s only the 5th and I am just killing myself wanting to start this. As I am going through and working on those older kits I am remembering why I may have abandoned some of them for so long. Some have been brutal to work on. I am about to finish Alice and Snow White today though, so that will be a proud finish. I think if I finish 2 older ones (which is doable), I may give myself this one cheat…….Maybe.

I’d love to order from that company, but I think I’m going to get a JW from Uniquely Yours Down Under. It’s the next state over from me, so hopefully shouldn’t be too pricey…plus they have Afterpay which is so much more manageable for me. Also….as of today (5th) Victoria is back in lockdown ffs! Number 6 for us 😡 Can people just not breathe on each other please lol. This is why I’m a hermit and I keep you company lol ❤️
Ugh!!!! More lockdown?! That stinks! They are starting to reintroduce mask rules in some public places here so I hope we aren’t going in that direction as well. I also got a JW from Uniquely Yours Down Under! The Three Graces. I just filmed the unboxing so look out for that soon. They were about $50US cheaper than DPD and From first impressions, the quality looks pretty good. The drills came in those little 200 each packets though, if that makes or breaks it for you. I’m curious about that as well! 🤣😂🤣😂 DSA is soooo tricky and to be honest, it’s scaring the heck out of me. I think I will exclusively work on it in the craft room at the big table and then carefully move it to Nate’s bed when I have to do unboxings and things at my table. It is certainly bound to become a nuisance after a while, but maybe that will give me encouragement to finish it in a timely manner, right?

That’s what I’m afraid of with the double sided adhesive, storing it too long……..and that’s a perfect excuse to break my no start rule anyway, isn’t it? Spirit of Flight is gorgeous! And a much more manageable size and color count. The symbolism of Diana is just something very powerful to me and if I was ever going to do it, now is the time. Coming into fall and winter in Michigan, my DP time will be there more and more. Thanks for the well wishes on the confetti, I’ll definitely need it!
I believe I did, in the beginning when I was talking about Artemis and her Roman counterpart being Diana. But I should have maybe reiterated. Good call.
Short answer: I didn’t. Lol. Long answer: I kind of pieced together some of the stats like farben is color, runde is round, eikege is square….. then I contacted them via email and they were able to send me a paypal link to make the payment. They responded to my email in English so that helped.
