Sorry to comment on a 2 year old video, but does the vinyl material breathe better than the cheap leather in the stock seats? Looking for seats for my 2012 C6 for better grip but also I hate how unless its perfect outside the GM leather/Leatherette just makes your back and butt sweat with the widows down. Any opinions i would love to hear
Hey! Thanks for the video! I have been looking at these seats for my 2000 FRC. Interested to see how you like them after more miles. I also live in PA. Currently live in York.
No problem. Did you see the other videos I made on these seats? I've been out a few times since the install. I still need to shim the front of the driver's seat to try and get more support. No long drives yet, as you know, the weather here has been terrible lately. Why do you want to change the seats in your FRC? Just for something different? Track days?
The seats are showing their age and lack support. They only have 60k miles on them, but the previous owner was in and out of them often it seems. Also would love to update the interior a little. I generally only drive it around town really but may do some track days this year. I did watch the other videos. I drove the car home from Complete Street Performance last evening and was reminded of how much I would enjoy new seats.
What did you get done at CSP? They did the cam install and tune in my FRC. I'm not too far from West Chester. New seats will certainly update the interior both from a visual and functional standpoint. I still haven't test drives over 30 minutes, so the jury is still out on longer distances. @@garrettgoeshealthy5370
They did another cam, lifters, springs, and all the other goodies that go along with it. I had a Speed Inc cam in it that was too aggressive and made around town cruising not very fun. Andrew had a customer spec cam ordered from Texas Speed for me. While I only drove it home, it was fantastic and the best part is it made identical peak numbers as the previous cam!
Nice! They installed a custom Lunati cam in my FRC. Made 378rwhp and 380ftlbs with a very steetable tune. What did yours make? Any pics or vids?@@garrettgoeshealthy5370
