The only thing that I dislike is that the battery is a bit exposed and easily gets damaged but I might be wrong, The rear shock seems to have multiple attachment points at the front, is that to set the seat height? overall i do like the simplicity of the design.

Awesome Tucker! Glad you got yours. I’ve been waiting for 2 years now for mine. But why get the one with super mini size wheels when you could have got adult size wheels? No tire clearance problems with the 19” rear wheel like the Surron has.. 21X19 wheel size or even a 18” has to be the best size combination for a midsized EV dirt bike . The 19X16 wheel size is found on youth sized 85cc super mini dirt bikes ..! So confusing to me why you decided to set up your D1 like a super mini.

The price and design are great on these when you consider how high grade the parts are. The only two issues are that they 48v so wiring will be really heavy to manage the high amp output and the battery is not quick and easy to swap out like surron. Other than that its the surron we seem to all try and build ours to be haha

There’s a lot that’s wrong with these bikes. Coming from someone who has multiple electric bikes I can immediately spot issues. Motor and battery aren’t protected! No swappable battery, battery voltage will provide enmorus amounts of heat and so on. Bike has a beautiful design and would be fun but at the price I’d rather keep a custom Sur-Ron. It will beat this bike in every aspect.

My friend “has” one. Well it’s burnt to a crisp now. He rode it one time at Burningman this year. Parked it at camp, went into the trailer and came out to it fully engulfed in flames. Not sure what the manufacture is doing for them.

As a former mountain bike downhiller I would say to change that fork for a DVO ONYX DC (29 or 27 version depending of the size of the wheel). The problem of inverted DH (downhill) forks is the lack of lateral stiffness and that's the case of that fork. Not gonna lie but for DH is a very good fork except for lateral stiffness. If you are ok with that you should only change the rear shock because it only has rebound control and no compression control.

When I see one getting a hundred feet of air, I’ll consider it a dirt bike.

The battery is at the bottom it will get dirty and wet and stop working batteries are not strong like iron

I really do struggle to see how this bike is so damn expensive, An the wires are just chucked in like its a chinese knock off, How comes the wires an connections are not even inside a plastic box on a bike of this price, Best thing is the forks, lol, Its a nice looking bike let down by the way of not consealing those wires away, A little thing like that will put a lot of people buying one of these, Plus here in the UK, The police are taking these of everyone, I read the police have something that cuts out the motors if people gives chase, The police saying too many people commiting crime on these types of E-bikes, I bet people use these bikes for their pack runs, So glad i got F all to do with that life anymore, I use my E-bike coz i suffer with CPTSD, I get really bad hypervilgilance symtoms when waliking, Its horrible, I only got a bafang on a carrera hellcat lmt edition, Stunning looking bike but no where near as powerful as this drill tho, But yeah even if i had the money i wouldnt buy one with police taking them off people, I aint got a licence even if i did, Coz i have CPTSD im not allowed to drive a car i aint mind tho, Im a danger to myself, Plus there is nowhere left to take bikes like this, In the 90s growing up farmers made a track for motorcross bikes so everyone never destroyed his good big fields, Dirt Road it was apptly named, You take a bike like this to a feild unless its private that is, An you got police coming an spoiling your fun, An gov dont even set up anything allowing people to take there bikes an have some fun anymore, They could charge a pound a bike an still make money, Yeah im happy with my bafang build coz its not crazy fast to attract unwanted attention, Enough power so i dont get stuck on hills, An it just looks like your normal mountain bike, Happy days..... Yeah this drill bike needs a bit more attention in the wire dep for this price, Thats for sure, I think about 2 an half grand you can get a B52 look alike an if you can build it yourself that sense of engineering acheivent is always good for the soul, lol, I would be lost in this dudes garage, lol, All those toys an that, Looks like dudes erned it tho, So can only respect that....

another insanely awesome but overpriced bike. Looks awesome but the cost is probably 4x what it would cost to build it yourself.. I'm at about 3-4 grand on the surron killer im building. QS273 50H 4T. Sabvoton 72200. 84v, 200A, 16.8kw continuous, (room for WAY more), 200-600A LLT BMS, 110/70-18 rear, 70/100-19 front, magura everything, fox 40's, "stealth bomber" frame, etc.. I cant afford 10 grand.. I cant even afford 3-4 grand that my bike cost.. But i CAN afford 100 bucks here, 2-300 bucks there, an occasional 1000 bucks here, 1500 bucks there if i save up to buy an expensive part.. its taken me about 6 months so far to build my bike, which sucks, but its almost done. And when its finished i have no doubts itll eat surrons for lunch.. My one single complaint about my build is that i have to use pedals and i wanted pegs. there is nowhere to mount pegs unless i weld something on.. This frame is kinda generic and shitty.. I absolutely LOVE the look of that frame you have there. I wonder if i can find a frame and put all my guts on it.. I'm looking forward to seeing the riding video of this thing! Awesome vid. I'm subbing. The youtube recommended section finally gave me something good!!
