Lol the only reason you think alibaba is known for scams is because people will buy from sketchy sellers on there with no sales history or not verified. Its mostly all legit aslong as you buy from a verified seller its like ebay but for manufacturers. If you find the right companies you can get talaria, surron and others because theyre just selling the chinese domestic bikes so its cheaper to us. I find it quite misleading when people who dont actually know how it works says its a scam when you can get the same things for the actual price. Love the vids though keep it up

honestly most of the big-name bikes come exactly like that too. i used to be a tech at a dealership and when i started out i was building all the new units we received, or people bought. I couldn't believe how some of the stuff was shipped

They use a lifan 110 gearbox... ive done rebuilds on 2 of these already.... just for info theres no gaskets or o ring rebuild kits so i had to scalpel cut every one of them

I paid for one and now I'm still waiting for it

I just realized I subbed to your Channel back in 2020 and never made the connection for the last year that I've been watching Grindhard, how crazy is that. I would sometimes think, wonder what happened to that guy that live up north somewhere and use to make Surron GoPro videos. The video of you getting left behind hard by the KTM on some proper XC trails is what made me realize a Surron wasn't for me and I lost interest in them.

This bike is from the company called Time, its a new company wich just started making dirtbikes. the next model the admitjet is much better and it will get even better in future times. they also make gasoline bikes 2 stroke and 4 stroke. they will be big very soon 🙂

Only benefit of surron/talaria is with a pedal kit, they can be basicslly road legal without being bothered. This would get you in trouble, at least more likely. Looks like a blast though

i have one personally and i like it. im going to change footbrake to handle bar break. i never had a issue with it in almost 2 years. im just using it for fun drives in the woods so i dont have that much km's spent. i think its pretty heavy but its also pretty fast.

I mean, changing the forks and controller still shouldn't put it anywhere near a fully built Surron should it? In that case it still kinda seems worth it? Assuming you don't already have a fully built Surron, that is ;)

Got into bikes a few years ago after trying a TINBOT E-cross. Can’t remember the exact version but it was clutchless & super impressive for a newbie like me. Started looking for other e-bike options immediately for trail riding but ran into some logistical issues. So ended up with an Apollo RXF 19/16 gas bike to learn the basics. Had zero expectations & right from the start, a bunch of parts were missing. Had to hit up the dealer for spares. Got most of them eventually, but it was a hassle figuring out what was missing. For a cheap bike around $1.5k the build quality was okay but there were quirks like zero valve clearance out of the box & bolts falling apart so you gotta be careful. Spent quite a bit of time balancing the carb, & now it runs pretty well. But honestly I wouldn't want a bike with so many surprises & maintenance costs anymore. As a first one it is ok. But this clutch-based electric bike is actually pretty interesting even having shitload of surprises & super nasty sounds. I've seen some threads in local chats where people patch controller behaviour actually

Thank you bro. I’m hunting and trying to find the best e-dirt bike, but after watching this….. I am convinced we are still a year away from something decent. It is not worth the money, and neither is a suron after the necessary upgrades

Sick video! I’ve been following this bike and they have a newer model called the Admit Jet Armor. And also an even newer model made by Time that is actually pretty sick. Not out yet though.

Meh there may be a lot of bad on Ali but they’ve implemented a lot of trade protection measures. I’ve had nothing but good experiences if you don’t mind the shipping times. Excited you reviewed this because there’s not much out there on it!

If your missing a couple bolts from a bike shipped in a box, they most likely use the bolts your missing to hold the box frame together

I would love a bike like this. I just burned up my hub motor on my Stealth bomber clone. been working with Alibaba for over 10 days, and now they went on vacation. this looks like a great starter bike and just needs an electro and co upgrade.

I think most of the electric big bikes have a bit wide or squared off tank area. Ive been wanting to see a decent review of a Kolter, why dont you guys get one and try it out? Of course Stark is killing it, but if you can get something for half the price or less for something as an extra friend bike, thats awesome.

That reverse Lock and speed controller Boost sounds like what the Verry first razor scooter had about 20years ago if you disconnected it and went backwards without pushing it forward before twisting the throttle it would launch backwards

U can build up a controller for around 50 - 150 $ . There are some good Open Source VESC Controllers (Like FreeDrive) out there that could be ordered build up and put in the bike. Its easy if you know what you are doing!

Tbh, clutch is really unnecessary with properly tuned throttle and a few hours of riding if we speak about starting. And with good starting torque paired with high max rpm, you won't need more than one gear. But with 12kW it kinda can make sense.

Upgraded shocks should be easy fix

The complaint about the battery is just plain dumb. These Velimotor are great bikes.

As a Brit I can say "lethal" is usually good but it's sorta like it's dangerously or over top good like a drink that's too strong or a bike thats really fast like the kid was saying also the stretching out of the word exaggerates the severity of it's "lethality"

I think there are "tunes" that you can do to fix the lag problem. I guess it is some sort of program. I have been wanting to get an electric bike for a while now. This one actually looks pretty good, especially for the price. I would probably ride it on the street more than off road anyway. Please do a real review of it. Maybe compare it to your surron.

theres plenty of ppl who have this bike for a few years now all over youtube in US. Kadeem Emoto is one channel. Its the Time ET electric dirtbike. it has a few othwr names as a few companies paid to slap their name on it. yes its a crazy powerful bike. but its built horrendously. horrible ugly welds and very cheap components. but its a blast . the one i tried 2 yrs ago hit 70 no problem

For that much you could have had a Prospec w/ the big Electro and Co 72v/79v EC4P kit that would Dominate that bike but you wouldn't have a clutch... I guess if you're spending $12k on a Sur Ron then you can just get a Stark Varg w/ the 80hp motor or the Redshift one that has a clutch and avoid Alibaba all together. LoL 😂

What gas powered bike would you recommend thats cheap and reliable for a beginner thats wants to get into this type of thing

I just paid £1300 for a 60v 2000w electric dirt bike, slightly smaller than a surron, I'm 60kg 5ft8 and I'm hitting about 38mph on it, it's called a neon titan x, also it's easily upgradable so I could have it going faster than a Ron fairly easily but the current speed I'm getting is more than enough for me to enjoy

It’s not a great “investment”, and you obviously wouldn’t buy another one, but there are many worse things to waste your money on that aren’t half as fun. You also got a good video out of it, and a great motor and battery. All is not lost IMO
