I love my Virpil gear. I have a right Apha Prime, WarBRD base, Mongoos CM3 throttle, ACE Pedals, control panel 1 and 2, an assortment of VPC mounts and a Delta grip that I may one day make an omnithrottle with.
I have been using the virpil pedals for years now, I have them set to roll, and the "toe breaks" set for my up and down strafe. Overall curious on how the new bases and sticks hold up to the old ones, if it's worth upgrading or not. running dual connie sticks with extensions, one is a normal extension (kinda like having a larger mouse pad for more persice aiming on my right stick as I use it to swing the noes of the ship around) and the Z extender for my left stick as a throttle / strafe. I use both springs on my pedals for more resistance, found myself rolling without meaning too at times lol. I also use the larger foot rests. Will also be interested in how you like the panels for SC, I don't have any but keep eyein em lol.
I am currently deciding what to replace my current pair of T-16000M's with. I have just watched your video from 6 months ago, saying VKB is the best option. But now I see this video. So which is it, in your opinion? Should I replace with VKB or Virpils?
On mine, I have the 1st and 3rd panels from 37:44. I like the first one next to the third one. The two 6 button blocks of square buttons are side by side, the 2 sets of 2 emergency buttons are side by side, and the left right mode toggles are side by side. In my mind, having those options side by side makes it easier to make sense of using them.
Virpil if you're reading this. PLEASE include all needed items for these sticks. I don't care if you just add it to the description or make a "bundle" but as a consumer I don't like being surprised after ordering things that I need to go back order more things.
As a customer you should research and know what you’re buying. Also the description tells you what it comes with. What do you just click buy and not know anything?
