Unboxing / Review Behringer Eurolive B115D 

Oh okay. I don't know much of anything about electronics. I think I compared the observable output to be about the same as my oldschool Peavey 100W head. The mixing desk next to it was 1500W rms I believe, English made, and that desk running appropriate speaker bins absolutely shits all over that Behringer wedge. But, I still use it, still love it and it sounds really good now the speaker is bedded in. Happy purchase.

@@lethalz9 the best thing to look at is the max spl Db level which 129 DB's which is roughly the output of a jet engine so if set up right they should rock. Just bought some so we'll see....

@@michaelbarlow7383 once the speakers are bedded it, you'll love them. The bass response in the 15" ones is very impressive

Not entirely true, I plug my guitar pedal straight in and it sounds epic. Great bass response. I have a Zoom G3 pedal with amp modelling, reverb etc. And the Mic plugged straight in sounds really good too. But obviously you need a mixer for higher level mixing, compression, more instruments etc.

Also, an acoustic guitar plugged straight in sounds great.

No it doesn't. You'll have to run it through a small mixer first.

Hi there. Yes you can plug any XLR instrument into this speaker. The interface on your drums should have all the adjustments you need.

Yes, the Behringer is a great speaker. Don't get the 12", you will get a better bass kick sound from the 15". And it's pretty loud, you would be able to jam with a full band with just one I think.

So i bought behringer dr112dsp and when i plug them with XLR into my drums, the back of the pa speaker will notify with the message "limit"!!! What am i doing wrong? Sorry for my bad English

They work quite well with bass guitar. But you would have to try them. Maybe hire a set first. Small indoor gig would be fine but open air is a whole different beast. I'd say you'd need 4 of these to get a decent open air sound, and maybe an additional sub

For band no more than 4 music, no more listening from 10 meter close audience, 80 people if is open space.

@@jessicalauradille8871 there is no volume pot as such on this one, only the input gains. I didn't have anything on full, input was set to "line" on the pot and the output from the mixer was never pushed hard either. I would never flog a brand new speaker... Rest assured that two of these would be perfect for front of house for a normal venue. A DJ would need a sub to reinforce the bottom end.

Best to use XLR plug. You can get XLR to 6.5mm or XLR to RCA depending on your needs.
