I love this figure so much. He's the version I imagined when I played with the OG as a kid. I never understood his ability to zip line from his head, though. Such a weird feature.

I had an overwhelming love for both Trap Jaw and Tri-Klops (but Trap Jaw especially) as a kid. His design made me think of a weird pulp-sci-fi cyborg pirate that you'd see fighting Flash Gordon. His origin mini-comic was one of my favorites too, as it took He-Man & Skeletor teaming up to defeat him after he inadvertently gained the power of Grayskull (thanks to Skeletor's plan to hop dimensions to gain access to the castle going awry after TJ's prison escape sabotaged his plans). The New Eternia version looks awesome (like most of the New Eternia figures).

Just recounting the Trap Jaw experience like you did is fantastic. No wonder he is so beloved! I almost wish Trap Jaw remained a threat outside the Evil Warrior membership. A rogue cyborg criminal with no interest but his own adds such an interesting dynamic!

I've got this one on the way through eBay. Can't wait to get him! I just wish they'd finally make a fully articulated figure of the early 2000s He-Man reboot Trap Jaw that had the giant detailed mechanical arm. I've been waiting for that version for years!

this is certainly an intriguing Trap jaw figure, definitely would love to get it at some point. you know, after seeing how Trap Jaw uses the Man-E-Faces shin pieces, i do wonder if there may be a chance we'll see a New Eternia Roboto at some point.

Wow, I haven't even considered that yet but I would love a New Eternia Roboto figure! Have you seen the original "Transparent Man" concept? I would love to see something like that released!

Trap Jaw and Tri Klops are inseparable to me ..they came out in the same wave together and and were usually seen on the cartoon together

I love this figure but I had to paint those eyes back to the creepier retro yellow eyes with small black pupils…. It’s so much more “horror” lol!

This may be controversial, but I'm not a huge fan of the Filmation representation of the MoTU. Sure I watched and enjoyed it as a kid, but much prefer a more darker version of that universe. The company 'Tweeterhead' who produce premium format statues designs are both classic and dark, especially the Merman they've released, however both their Skeletor and Trap Jaw are absolutely the best versions of those characters I've seen to date and would love to see those versions in live action/CGI animation form.

It looks great, but I actually wish Mattel would do other characters that havn’t been done since a trap jaw already existed in the Revelation line.

I am happy we have been seeing a lot of that already like Two Bad, Buzz-Off, Clawful, Webstor, Ram Man and Whiplash off the top of my head. And that's just New Eternia! Plus we have Snout Spout coming! 🙂 Is there a particular character you're really anticipating?

@@foreterniaofficial I really want some more She-Ra characters. Some other New Eternia I really want to see is Vikor, Wun-Dar, and the 200x Zodak. And I want a darn Revelation Whip Lash with the techno features. There is a personal agenda to what I want to see in Masterverse. Basically I want the 7 inch version of the characters I didn’t get the Classics version of and whatever I think I can fit into my dioramas. See I’m not sure where to fit New Eternia Man-At-Arms, Trap Jaw, and Triclops since I already have the classics and more than one of the Revelation versions. But I’ll figure it out 😀

@@dinosaurparkandsuch6936I would love all those figures too! 🙂 I don't mind the characters duplicated myself, especially when I find the new ones better overall. Regarding POP, the things I heard were a real bummer, that product didn't move too well, even She-Ra herself (perhaps they shouldn't have released her as a deluxe?) Hopefully that doesn't translate into that being it for Masterverse POP and there is still more on the way. Fingers crossed! 🤞
