The death guard ones were the best imo. I love all their hero models. Especially the guy with the bone and shredded flesh face

If my memory serves me, there was also a bit of a “chase” figure in the Death Guard wave. A standard bearer that was only available in one of those small paint box sets they occasionally release.

You are totally correct! Plague Champion Gangrus (dude with a wicked sword) was a secret model in Japan (not sure about rest of the world), and Pustus the Vile (dude with smoke and flies around him) was only available in the paint set.

If I remember correctly there where 2 different sets in Series 2. One with ordinary Blood Angels, one with Terminator Blood Angels. The ordinary Blood Angels had 6 different Marines, the Terminator ones where 9.

Indeed, there are tactical Blood Angel space marines sold separately in a similar manner and packaging. I was always a bit uncertain if they were part of Space Marines Heroes series or not, but I could not place them anywhere else. I do have the box of them too, so I will figure out their Heroes-esness status before I make any videos with them. Stay tuned! 😉

Ah, yes, eBay was not cheap for me either. They claim, though, to sell the box for $64 in the US Target stores. That is before taxes, I recon 😅

Wow I had never heard of this before! Where I live I can buy the full set for 55€, which considering if I buy a Kill team from GW direct it is the same price thats actually pretty reasonably priced. Im going to buy the full set and use the spare character as a lieutenant or something in regular 40k.

That is one way of looking at it. I see it this way, though: Target sells this box for $64, and you get a whole Kill Team for this money. At the same time Target sells Into the Dark box with 2 Kill Teams, rules, etc for $160, which, technically is approximately same money for the minis if one excludes the rulebook and other stuff from the $160 price. So I wouldn’t say it is overpriced. Warhammer is an expensive hobby, mate 😅

I think what they meant was more “space marines characters”, same with the “heroes” of the chapter which are more like the high command of the chapter. For a setting like warhammer it would’ve been better to call them space marines collection, or space marines characters…

I suspect our mate was referring to female Adeptus Custodes that are allegedly a must from Amazon for that new series with Henry Cavill. I heard some rumblings about that, but I don't know much more 😅 Would appreciate if anyone could explain me that drama in a small number of sentences 😄🙏

Wow, I had to Google extensively for this one! Yes, I was aware of "Space Marine Heroes 2022 Set 1", as they called it on Warhammer Community website (www.warhammer-community.com/2022/07/29/space-marine-heroes-2022-the-blood-angels-take-charge/), because I have a sealed display of 8 minis in my collection. However, there was, apparently, "Space Marine Heroes 2023 Set 2" (not sure if it is the official name of it, because I could not find any mention of this one on Warhammer Community anywhere). This one is different from the Set 1 in terms of the minis, but, confusingly enough, it looks almost exactly the same as the first one - it is only the minis on the boxes that make them visually different. Both of those are not making Kill Teams though, I'm afraid. I found no indication of that anywhere, including the packaging of the Set 1 (that I have in my possession and intend to open on this channel in some future).
