Unboxing the 40th Anniversary Call of Cthulhu Classic DELUXE Box Set!!! Wahhhhh!!! 

I backed this just to get the first edition 2" box (but I got the full deluxe set too). I own a second edition 1" boxed set and it was two column layout. I believe the 4th edition (my first edition of CoC) was a reprint of the 2nd edition, including a lot of the companion and I think parts of fragments of fear (It also had 5 or 6 color panels of art in the middle which was also in a lot of the supplements in the late 80s and early 90s from Chaosium) Thanks for doing this unboxing as I now know mine is either on it's way or will be on it's way shortly.

French guy here. I started CoC in 84 with the French edition of this box. I still have it, as well as all the supplements included here. When I saw they were reissuing this, I had to jump on it. My oroginal has lived a lot of adventures and is very vintage looking now. Also have a 3rd edition book signed by Sandy Petersen when he came to a con in France. One of my numerous Cthulhu unspeakable treasures. This box is gold!

Bought the 1" and look forward to its arrival. Easly the single, greatest, most complete RPG ever put into a box.

My copy of the Deluxe box set came a few days ago and it's gorgeous, all these extras really make the box. I can't wait to run all of these scenarios for my group in our 7th edition game.

So excited to get my hands on this! I love the art on old CoC modules. The cover of Trail of Tsathogghua in particular is amazing.

I'd love to get my hands on the hand-outs...though maybe I should just go for the HPLHS set. Though I honestly don't know how many of those early adventures I'll ever actually run. I'm just super addicted to hand-outs and props.

The bonus scenario in Trail of Tsathoggua is one of greatest rpg scenarios ever created.

The original edition has a two columns layout indeed.

Great video, I wish I backed it! I managed to get a complete first edition box set of dreamlands from Facebook in New Zealand for 40 NZD. Is that a crazy deal? I don’t really know what’s rare or hard to get because everything is in NZ 😂

What’s the paper quality like? From what I remember, back in the day the paper was pretty thick.

Too bad that the Resistance Table is not on the Keepers Screen.

I missed this kickstarter backing: is it possibile Chaosium will publish it in the earlier future in its site?
