Good eye on the S15 parts. When Aoshima did their Silvias, they tooled up the S15 first in 2004, and then the S13 two years later. In that process they just recycled the S15 chassis and running gear under the S13. That version of the kit you have was "significant" because 2012 was the first time any of the S13s ever came with the factory wheels which were newly tooled. It was also the first time the "early" (pre-'91) parts were included since the original issue in 2006.
Yeah I noticed that a lot of the Aoshima skylines share the same chassis bits too. I had spotted those parts and had saw that they weren't used on any of the Aoshima S13s so I found the manual for one of the s15s to see what they were used for. Great info mate thanks!
