heyy me too! really loved the anime but i wanted to see if i missed out on any scenes of my favorite characters (ryuk and L), the artwork looks beautiful in photos and i figured this would be the best way to collect all the books (for me). go for it if you think its the right choice :)

@@kzvnq cheaper than buying the individual books by a long shot :) you can see videos on the black editions and the all-in-one to make your final decision. i personally don't like the black edition because of the lack of cover art. but maybe youd like the minimalist look on the shelf. as for the all-in-one, i didn't go for it due to the small page size and the thickness of the book making it hard to read, as well as how thin the pages are. even though it is definitely the cheapest option.

@@kzvnq yea! i ordered it on amazon for around 70 dollars but depending on where u live there might be a local store that is better for u, for me amazon was my only and cheapest option to find it.

@@apersonwholikesmanga3178 apparently, I’m being sent in alone to go find whatever my mum was looking for AND, it’s not even the same mall cause Ik the bookshop is at the entrance and the store that sells platforms is about 3-7 shops down from the store my mom was gonna go in but now I’m just being sent into a random store alone to try find a weird wooden nutcracker but, I guess I can have a search around if I’d like to tho the car is gonna be right outside. If there was a bookstore next door to it then I could have brought a lot of money and bought The Way Of The HouseHusband series but I’m pretty sure there isn’t. 🥲 well, I’ll bring some extra cash just incase I spot a store I like nearby. 😂 Welp, if my dad randomly gets out the car and tries to help me find the nutcracker then I’m asking him if there’s a bookstore nearby for me to go into cause I only have 9 manga volumes rn and I have a LOT of room on the shelf I’m using currently but if I were to get rid of everything on it except the manga, I could probably fit 10-20 volumes in the space even with the first 9 there.

@@apersonwholikesmanga3178 lmao, I got what my mum wanted me to go for and then I noticed that there was a bookstore over the road but once I got half way across, it was closed. I realised that there was one in the totally opposite direction and I had to literally Naruto Run over to it and try find one of the manga volumes I was looking for, they didn’t have what I was looking for but I risked getting caught just to get there as I wasn’t with anyone so I wasn’t leaving empty handed but there was like 5 volumes in total in the manga section so I just picked a random 1st volume up and paid for it not knowing it was also £10 ($13-ish) as there wasn’t any prices anywhere and it was a TINY volume but I paid for it, I think it’s called ‘The Girl From The Other Side?’ What I find hilarious is that before I was a weeb, I’d always think “Why the hell is there so many bookstores? Everywhere I look, I see one…” but now I’m a weeb, all I think is “Why the BLOODY HELL is there no open bookstores!!! I’m Naruto running from one side of the city to another just to find one and they always end up closed!” I felt very happy as that was my first time shopping without anyone behind me staring at everything I pick up and my gran said “Good girl!” When she found out I ran all the way down the street and back again independently as I don’t get complimented for being independent but I think my mum might trust me more considering I haven’t done anything like super immature like buying a whole section of manga and just stuck to the 1. Tho sadly, they did have Naruto 3in1s but they didn’t have the first one so I couldn’t buy the first 3 3in1s in one go even tho that would cost me like £40? ($53) Thank god no one was with me as there was mostly adult mangas and all had inappropriate covers and I saw a staff member looking at me cause I’m only 13 but look like 16 cause I’m 5’6” ish but still probably looked like some weird perverted kid cause I picked one up blindly without looking at the cover and when I saw 2 naked people on it, ngl, I almost dropped it. ✋😓 My mom doesn’t seem so bothered by the volumes now, she literally said “Why not buy those comics from Amazon instead of paying ridiculous prices for them in regular bookstores?” And my gran went “We should get you a credit/debit card, it would be easier than pulling out cash all the time, as long as ur mother agrees ofc…” My mom knows exactly what I’d do with it. ✨Buying Manga from Amazon✨ Her facial expression was priceless when she realised exactly how I’d use it. 👏😂
