People have NO idea how heavy it is until you hold it going to come up with some type of carrier for mine will buy the 2019 upgrade kit for mine later in the year ... glad to see another voltz owner in the us
Thanks for watching Dominick - one thing I failed to mention is that I think the 2019 has aluminum lower A-arms on the front vs the previous model - is that correct?
@@jeffreynichols as mentioned aluminum arms and new and added shocks main edition to 2019 which i'll do because mine is running the MTXL tires and wheels on it
@@bocefuss4500 Is there any specific 24mm hex adapter/extender you can recommend to buy in order to be able to use the MTXL wheels? I would like to do the same but did not find any adapter for sale on the web.
Love mine runs great on 8s even with the weight. I added the light kit which is worth having. Have an xmaxx as well no comparison between them. Great vid enjoy bud.
Hello I have the same truck as yours and i have a problem with it... Everytime i take it for a spin i blow out the tires after 20 seconds (two 16000mah 4s 25c batteries). Do you have a suggestion for a better tire maybe?or a solution to make it last longer? I cant find any other 230mm tires (smaller means less speed obviously) Thabk you for your help my friend
@@michyassouline9408 hi mate looking to get this truck, how does it drive how long do ES your twoo 16000 mAh 8s last you while driving it well that's of you ever drove it before the tires blew up.
I had the first generation of the voltz and I had gear problems I got it fixed and did a trade back to gas 5th scale. The voltz look sweet but the rear end is to stiff IMO it needs softer rear springs but they do not make any for it. Parts are hard to get for it in the USA , but what turned me off is how I had gear damage on a 7 minute run.
Hei aluminiun crusher can you tell me what dif gear you put in your dragon hammer? I have the voltz and I would like to change the gearbox for another one. thanks buddy.
Actually not. Maybe more breaks in hardcore bash than xmax, but cage, rims and wheels are made of a flexible material. So for a 5th scale it absorbs hits well compared to a hpi baja or similar cars.
Thanks for watching! I really can't say since I never got to drive it. My concern was availability of spare parts. Anything you break means an order from China.
@@michaellui74 i have now done some serious mileage on mine(videos on my channel). It is not perfect but it is at least on the same quality level compared to mcds, losis etc i also have, in some ways better, especially drivetrain is good. The weakest parts are hinge pins, and shock rod-ends.
They have a hobby shop in Jamaica when I was home I found it just look on the web site but the downside we can't get everything from other countries with out going through coutums 🙏🙏🙏🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲💪💪💪
Man, I too am super interested as I love how heavy duty it seems to be built. Or is it lust way overkill? And the lack of US support also scares me... haven’t we all run to the lhs Sunday before they close to get parts for some Saturday mishap? I wish there was a us sales network. Perhaps there’s not because there is no factory support? Does anyone have experience running this beast?
I wouldn't buy one if i was paid. Way too heavy, CoG is way too high also. Better off with a DBXLe or a 5iveT or 5iveB brushless conversion. If you want a desert runner type truck like this, then the Vekta.5 LSE kit is way better with the brushless conversion kit
I had the v2 petrol version, not as heavy as this but still too heavy, hated it, worst rc ever had. Sold it for a big loss just to get rid of the piece of shit
@@jeffreynichols thank you for replying. I see you dropped the price and I'm having a hard time not buying it. I just got thru some health issues otherwise it would be on it's way to my house already. Thanks for the video!!
