The cardstock bugs me too. It's too thin and bendable. I thought they sent me a fake copy of the original big box which I replaced and then the replacement has the same cartstock. I have the wild unknown animal spirit oracle cards the cardstock is better than the tarot deck. I heard the indie version has way better cardstock just like the animal spirit oracle.
I agree with you about buying the non-knockoffs. To each their due. Bathrobe Danny uses this deck so I am a little familiar with it. If I were to get another mostly different from the Rider Waite deck, this might be it. Although that white cat tarot is sticking in my head. Rider Waite is my favorite also so I stick with that for now. But there will come a time..... Thanks, dear. ☮️🐻🐶🐱🐐
It really bugs me when they sell these on sites you’d expect more from. Now that I’ve had a chance to handle them I like the feel of them, they are thin but shuffle well and seem like they will hold up well. It’s a very interesting deck.
@@lizcrafts1 I agree! I found out post purchase that Amazon does NOT sell Birenstocks. What? Then what did I buy???? Sigh. I got caught on a deck earlier this year. No book????? I gave that deck away to a friend who is more intuitive and I bought the expensive full fledged one. Damn. I would buy more tarot if I had any memory abilities left. I can't try to learn new cards. Without books forget me using them! Another sigh. But yes, I bet with practice, the Wild Unknown would be fantastic! Going cabin-ing this weekend. It is going to be 105 straight up. Ugh.
@@donnawitteried3213 105???😳 hope you have A C at the cabin. I think if you know the rider Waite than you can probably use most decks although there are a couple I have that just throw me way off. Oracle cards seem to be easier for most people including myself but my first love is the Tarot. It’s the one that tells me things as they are the most without being wishy washy lol 😂
@@swatisdiaries that's a good point. Also some don't even number their Major Arcana and that's even more annoying. Although I love the new Forhaxa deck by MJ Cullinane she didn't number the cards even though I pointed the numerology thing out to her and she still didn't do it.
@@swatisdiaries Because Strength and Justice are switched in the Marseille style of tarot decks. The RWS is not the only system in tarot :) I find it unfortunate that some decks that utilize Marseille-style will get reviews on Amazon by those who don't know this (because they've only been exposed to the RWS system) who then 1-star those decks due to misunderstanding, or thinking that the creators made typos. (I'm not saying you're doing this, I'm just speaking in general.)
Hi! I understand that some people are ok with it and in some cases it's the only way you can get out of print decks. The problem is that the artists are being not getting any of the profits and it's not fair to them. On another note, most fake decks I've seen are very low quality so the chance of having to buy another one is higher and it's spending extra anyway. But to each their own. @@lizcrafts1 for me is really a huge difference because I live in poor country and 20$ for me makes a huge difference in my whole financial system considering most of us gain 100$ or 150$ per month 🤭 I know for white people is nothing so you can spend those 20$ on candy but tarot is for everyone not just people in the first world countries so judging me for buying cheap 3$ decks really speak volumes of how much privileged you guys are. sadly most "newagers" or "spiritual" people are very judgmental wich is absolutely sad but we, poor people of color don't expect anything from you guys and in general we never wrong. Not a personal attack to you at all, I'm just speaking the truth from the other side of the world. God bless!
