This looks exactly the same as the orange and grey Schroder SR-8000 unit on the SchroderUSA website and the red and black looking Stark USA Xtreme Power unit on Ebay. All must be made in the same Shanghai factory but with customized colors and stickers. Schroder claims the 80cc (79.4.cc) engine is 4.3 HP with the unit producing 920 CFM and 243 mph versus the Yuzhoukee's 850CFM and 230mph. Currently the Schroder is $388 with free 2 day shipping and apparently a 5 year warranty (only as long as their website is still around), the Stark USA one is as low as $239.95 and states only 175mph. Other differences claimed are the Schroder apparently weighs 26.6 lbs and specifies 50:1 fuel mixture versus Yuzhoukee's 32lbs and 30:1 fuel mixture (maybe to increase lubrication and extend engine life at the expense of some power?). The Stark USA one also specifies a 30:1 mixture.

I agree. I was thinking the same before I red your comment.

The Schroder is a German designed blower as far as I know but made in China. 50:1 with a jaso fd synthetic is plenty of oil for a fairly low rpm and constant load

Love these videos. Would like to see more repair videos of used garden machinery. Maybe go to some car boot sales for cheap items that need repair?

I ended up buying one of these. It wasn't the Yuzhoukee branded one, but a Yard Tuff branded model. It's identical in every way except for the colors. I've used it now about a dozen times and so far I like it. I paid about $275 for it off Amazon and for that price I think it's unbeatable. I have had to adjust the carburetor a couple of times to get it running just the way I like it, but I have to do this with every 2-stroke engine I own because of my altitude of 7,000'. I have noticed though that this carb seems to go out of adjustment easier than my other 2 stroke powered engines, but it's an easy adjustment to make. The power from this thing is great. I use mine to blow not only leaves, but smaller rocks off my long driveway. This machine will easily blow 2" diameter rocks. I also own a Stihl BG-86, and can tell you this blower has WAY more CFM's than that, and even though it's a lot heavier, it doesn't hurt my arm like the Stihl does after holding it for an hour because it's a backpack blower. Overall I'd give this 4 stars due to the sometimes finicky carb and the shoulder straps that loosen during use.

it worked for a year and four months of commercial gardening; now one of the crank seals are leaking and it's leaning out. the thing was always a pain in the neck to start once it was warm now it's almost impossible. although it looks like a red max or a husqvarna it's nothing like either one, this is not something you could send out with your crew and expect them to get it started, also now the thing has quite a rattle i'm not sure what it is but a brand name replacement is on the way, i rolled the dice with this this blower and lost. my advice is paid twice the price get the redmax or husky and be happy; you don't want something that weighs a ton, is uncomfortable, noisy, super hard for you to start and pretty much impossible for your helpers to start.

It is certainly not the least expensive blower, but in the 80cc range it is, I saw them listed from 450 to 1000 in that size range. So yep you can find cheaper but not with the power this thing has.

I have to say if those specs are accurate and it lasts then that's not a bad price. My Echo 770 cost about $500 and I think it's a 63cc and pushes 756 CFM @ 234 MPH.

DIY with Uncle Cy you can get a br600, 700 or 800 for under $600 and even cheaper if you buy used. I have Hutzl’s 660 and I love it. All I’m saying is that if this thing was priced the way they price their big saws then I’d own two! Just seems like they need to drop off another $100 on the price.

DIY with Uncle Cy sorry to say I have to agree with Joseph. I bought my Husqvarna 580BTS for 480 dollars brand new about 5 years ago. It is 75 or 76cc puts out 905CFM. I think you can still buy them new for about 580 or less still to this day. I can’t justify the 399 price I see it selling for. Great videos by the way.

@DIYwithUncleCy
@DIYwithUncleCy 8 месяцев назад
cc is Cubic centimeter. Horse power is a measure of how much work and engine can do. The two are not related. I have seen 5.7 ltr V8s produce 300 HP and then get rebuilt and get 1500 HP. Your statement, is incorrect. I have also seen 2 50cc engines from 2 manufacturers produce wildly different HPs.
