actually like this idea car part unboxing, but comparing different brand products would be better

total agreement with Tj , if you can only see the tips then the black is definitely the right choice but if you can see the connecting pipes then you may as well go for the full chrome look as the other will just look like you bolted a cheap set of tips on the ends

I agree with teeg, titanium doesn't really look good on a BMW. I would do the black one, but I do agree that the single wall on the titanium ones do look better.

Awesome video idea. I like it. But I have a videography suggestion.. change your lights above your desk to LED or to a cooler light. The tungsten lighting ruins the cool green screen!

would you recommend getting genuine bmw hardware kit for the install? or the hardware that comes with the megan is good enough?

I got the megan one, sounds really good too and very in-expensive. some people had problems w/ tips pointing downwards on the first batch but after than they since have fixed the problem. mine was perfect fitment as the shop that installed said it was one of the rare occasion where an aftermarket muffler fits as good as the OEM.

The black is the one. But only if you can't see the polished pipes. If you can see the polished part then I'd go with the titanium.

Definitely definitely, use AR20 resonators or Rogue Rasp X pipe. Kills the rasp but keeps it sounding louder.

I have the same exhaust w/black tips. It looks good, sounds good, and saves a lot of weight too. There are 2 other exhausts that "coincidentally" looks identical and cost more: Agency Power and Status Gruppe V1. Compliment this exhaust with an intake and it will sound even better. There is drone at 3K RPM, but I find this common with all aftermarket E46M exhaust including the Supersprint Street which folks are paying 3x for. Also, once you show off some nice exhaust tips, you have to get a CSL style rear diffuser to enhance the rear. One thing throtl can do is compare the weight of the stock exhaust vs the Megan as another selling point.

I like this type of video, I think the classic exhaust is the best looking on the car 2nd is black. I think because the car is almost stock on the exterior it makes sense to have classic understated look.

i would go for the anodized black if your planing on keeping the stock diffuser and keeping the car as stock and clean as possible, if not i would go for the titanium

Titanium looks the best made but ifthe black one was better coated and not scratched i would choose the black one... but in this case i prefer the titanium one

Polish Single wall would look the best... even though i would go with the silver polish double wall... Black would just die on the car... and burn tips is more a JDM thing...

Never been a fan of burnt tips so I have to lean towards the black tips. The black will look amazing with the dark car.

The black ones would be right for my E46 since it's the metallic yellow (gold) with all black trim. But yours is black, so I'd accent it with the titanium tips. They would definitely set your E46 off.

Agree with TJ go black if you only see the tips otherwise the polished tips for the style you were wanting to go with the car. If you go with the titanium ones you really need to go bit more out there in general for the car

Agree with Teej, burnt tips don’t flow with German cars. You can get away with em if the car is a very similar blue, but otherwise jdmaf

Black is probably best. Only my opinion but if exhaust is not full Ti for me it's "Rice" and i could feel odd about it on my car ;)

Even more affordable is the DNA Motoring section 3.. I have this now, it's SUPER loud.. sounds like a Supersprint but for a fraction of the cost. Weight savings of ~30lbs! I bought mine for ~$250, that's a STEAL for the E46 M3!
