Tua lead the league in most passing categories and consistently got better each season. The media has been trying to discredit and sht on him every chance they get. Tua doesn’t seem that elusive as other Qb’s and hasn’t been clutching games out late last year so I want to see how much better he can get and if the O-line and defense can stay healthy

Ocho, You said "Making the plays when it matters most" Well, we've all seen that Tua has proven that he can't make plays when it matters most. He can't even lead his team to win the division with a 3 game lead at home. It's going to be his 5th year. His "lets see what happens" stage is over. We've seen all we needed to see and you should be honest about how much of a disappointment he's been when the lights have been the brightest. Since he's consistently poor in big game situations in December & Janruary then he's not a long term solution and he shouldn't even be considered as a long term franchise QB.

Tua is the best we've had since Marino. Thats 25 years. He's not top five but he's not outside of the top 12 right now. You don't give up on guys like that. He literally just played his first full season and second in this offense. For a lifer, I thought you would have seen the QB futility we've dealt with and appreciate Tua's play a little more. He has flaws and he didn't play well when it counted. That can change as he matures and learns. It's consistency, not a matter of ability, imo.

Dolphins should get rid of a young QB who made progress every year coming off a pro bowl season just now getting ready to hit his prime but replace him with a rookie QB that might not even turn out good. I say keep him, because you draft a rookie, you are back in the "wait and see" phase. Hill isn't 22, you don't have the time to just wait and see and that's even if the guy you bring in is any good. I say roll with Tua. And tbf, when it comes to injuries and PLAYOFF success almost no one is safe in the AFC other than Mahomes. Jackson sucks in the playoffs, Burrow is always hurt.

@@LKS-M9323 thats a big oversimplification . Mahomes this year won with an average OL and a very poor receiving corp. Tua disappeared as the season goes on.... Burrow had a BAD OL for all his career .... Tua isnt able to raise the value of players around him ...they gave him one of the top 10 WR ever = wild card exit .

@@francesco5581 Dude you know nothing about Miami. Miamis Oline was sooo injured by the time the playoffs came they had 3 guys off the street starting late in the season. And injured guys played for the playoff game and a couple got hurt during the game. Remember this is a playoff game where it's like -25 outside with heavy wind. That's your baramoter for his playoff ability? So patchwork o line deadly freezing Temps and heavy winds you ignore all that? @@LKS-M9323 You are right when you say we had big injuries in the OL but the difficulties of Tua regarding playing well against strong opponents last from the college times (i remember watching him against Burrow's LSU). There are some players that when they are challenged they rise their level, no matter how bad their OL or receiving corps is. Brady and Mahomes are like that. There are some others that when they are under pressure they suffer... so they need the perfection around them. Also, Tua mulled retirement because of hits ... would be stupid from his part to shorten his career not allowing the team to invest in the OL. (and stop with the "dude" and the "bruh" , come on .... )

I feel like they are in a position where you don't need to climb up the board to get someone, but based on his injury history you should make sure you have a talented backup with upside. You def want a guy with a cannon arm, so if Penix Jr. falls to the 2nd round and they want to move up from 55 I feel like they should. As far as pick 21 goes, I think spending that on a QB would have a ton of players pissed off. With how much money and assets they have invested at WR, them not having a high quality backup is careless, in order to get roster value you NEED someone to sling the rock to Reek and Waddle incase Tua goes down again.
