I really like her, she's very sympathetic. I'd be totally satisfied if Uncharted continues with her. But I'd also be satisfied with this as the end, I will miss them tho.
No. It would be cool if we have another brand new game with her that have nothing with treasure hunting, intense action and so on. Like a game based on choices.
Nate will have fun explaining how he saw Eddy get bitten in the neck by a spainard and pulled down to hell and hear. Aloud scream right after, then watching Lazarevíc get brutally beaten up by those purple goblins, then watching an elderly woman drown slowly in quicksand.
@@tomastapia5241yeah. But mainly Rafe died for sure with a broken neck by the treasure. So I presume he was already dead before he was burnt and at the bottom with the sinking ship
Its called ludonarative dissonance it means the gameplay and the stroy convey different things all uncharted games do this all get games some people care others dont.
When he kills its hardly any different from when an animal out in the wild kills. It's purely survival. He'd rather not kill and he actually can just sneak past enemies in the game play without killing a single person, but we the player don't find that very entertaining.
I have this theory that's supported by nothing really, that all the "enemies" we fight in the game are Drake greatly exaggerating the number of henchmen that were at any given place on his adventures because he wants to sound cool in front of Cassie, and since he has proof of all the other crazy shit he's seen she has no reason not to believe him when it comes to the number of guys he's survived fighting.
Nathan: *goes through an entire series of shooting enemies trying to stop them and swears like a sailor through out the entirety of his adventures* Also Nathan: *doesn’t allow his daughter to say “shit”*
Oh my god I loved it! It did feel sad as it was the end of a great series, but it is better than dragging it out and ruining it. The idea of "settling down", getting married and having children scares me, it feels boring and borderline torturous. But if I get to do it with someone like Nate, God I would do it in a heartbeat. You know there isn't a boring moment with a guy like him. Also, I feel like Elena (and Nate too) miss the adventure, I mean who wouldn't! They seem happy with their lives, but compared to what they had before, who wouldn't feel nostalgic?
fun fact: whatever hat you wear on that mansion scene when they were kids, is what shows on the photo here at the end. or at least that's what i remember. last i played this was 2018.
If they make more uncharted games, they should totally make Cassie the lead Considering the Last of Us Part 2's premise, Naughty Dog might see the potential in passing the torch storylines
@@deathbykonami5487 The best part about that is with all of the PC non-sense in games nowadays, I would love to play as two strong women like Ellie and Cassie. These are real characters with real emotions, not a black woman shoehorned into a WW2 game.
Elena: Nate, it's time to have the talk. Cassie: Yeah. It's totally time. Wait, which talk are we talking about here? Nate: You see, when mom and dad love each other so much... Cassie: Oh, that talk.
Next thing you know, Nathan Drake’s daughter will be having her own Uncharted adventures in the possible future. Discovering lost cities, Solving ancient puzzles, Collecting forgotten relics, Fighting hired mercenaries and armies owned by some psycho.
I want another video game where someone kidnaps their daughter to get to some treasure or revenge or her parents get kidnapped and she goes after them with Sam and Sullivan
Nathan looks like he’s in the 50s because he has a little Gray on his hair, and it’s really doubtful when he tells his daughter Cassie about in the past!
She's just a kid here .. we still don't know how she'll change if she became the new protagonist .. I'm actually down for it and curious .. I just hope it's a different personality contrast to Lara or Chloe ..
This is the story of Nathan Drake by becoming a treasure hunter since 2007 and Now This is the end of Nathan Drake's career on becoming the greatest of treasure hunters? 🙂
1st adventure: Searching for El Dorado 2nd adventure: Facing a madman at the steps of shambala 3rd adventure: Locating the lost city of iram 4th adventure: Hunting the treasure of Henry Avery
Perfect end to the series as long as they don’t tarnish it with needless continuation of a bunch sequels no one asked for like halo, gears of war and Star Wars.
Because this, right here, is how you end a story arc. This is how you give a character an ending the players feel rewarded for getting to. And once you do that, it's an insult and a travesty to throw that character right back into danger, and try to milk them for one more game.
@@Domzyses hardly, Lost Legacy was Chloe and Nadine's time to shine Sam was just there looking for a quick score, which he didn't get because Chloe followed Nate's footsteps and went legit as a legitimate archaeologist and turned over the artifact they almost died for to the museum Sam should've been happy he got away with Avery's treasure at the end of 4
I admit I was disappointed in this ending... I was so convinced that Nate would die, but die doing what he loved, hunting treasure and solving history to himself. The part of Uncharted 4 where he finds the pirate table with the skeletons I thought was proof that he was going to succumb to the same fate.... I watched this ending in 2016 knowing what Naughty Dog wanted to do, but just with a blank look on my face. I didn't like the fairy tale ending.
Well that was kinda the point of what nathan learned. He learned that the treasure wasn't worth it that table is proof look what happens if you continue to go down that path, and now look instead of go for the treasure like the villain did he chose his brother and his wife and he got to live mean while he died and for what. For some dumb treasure that means nothing especially if your dead.
Having Nate die makes no sense because his entire arc is about how he learned to reject his obsession with the treasure, after seeing how his actions hurt the people around him, and ultimately choosing a future with Elena instead. It was a simple but very powerful arc, and extremely well-done. In contrast, his brother Sam continued to pursue the treasure. The only person that maybe, could have died, should be Sam. Following storytelling conventions, Sam should have died. But I'm happy no one died, really. Amazong story, loved every moment. Also showed what a good marriage looks like XD.
Sorry. But i hate this ending. I hate they have a ugly daughter and living like rich people on a private Island or some shit. Sorry again. But that doesn't fit to Nathan Drake. He should be a normal guy like in the beginning. They should roll the credits after they take a taxi back home. And Sam and Sully planing some stuff. This will always be my true ending.
Good job you're not a writer, because A. that sounds like a sack of shit compared to this, and B. You've completely failed to understand Nates character arc.
I actually don't like the daughter. Her knowledge and skills yeah. Her attitude and lack of is something abhorent. Oh that something is that she is a millenial and third wave feminist.
