Re-live the awfulness that was the Uncharted movie with me in this re-up of my original review. #tomholland #markwahlberg #moviereview #review #videoessay #uncharted
Helicopter lift power is a tough thing. In this movie, its dumb - yet in Pacific Rim, in which its even less feasible, it's awesome seeing the mech dropped off by chopper. Of course none of that changes that Uncharted is a forgettable and misguided attempt to make a modern Indiana Jones film.
If the movie wasn't going to have Nathan Fillion or Nolan North than it shouldn't have happened. If they wanted to go for a young Nathan, then it should've been Nathan Kress. At least to me, he's the closes to looking like Nate back in Drake's Fortune, and Sully should've been played by William Hurt. As for the story, it shouldve been simple and just an adapting of one of the games, or the comic book that took place before Drake's Fortune. This one had a bunch of shit from the different games mixed up and just didn't make sense.
