Everyone who's trained with him knows him as "Uncle Scotty," but how did that nickname come about? He's got another nickname they used on LAPD also, watch to find out what it was! #internationaltactical #scottreitz #firearmstraining
Love your channel ♥️ When my brother-in-law served on the police force , he got the name " point man " cause any time they would have to do crowd control and since he would be the largest in stature his sargent would say "Hey point man! Your up!"
I was known as The Troll from 1996 onward. Was working jvenile probation then. We were making the on call schedule (weekly) for the year. I was grumbling about recalcitrant juveniles and how we should figuratively rip off some heads. My female partner said something to the effect of go back under your bridge you troll, and it stuck. Through my transition to full time street cop( i was a reserve while working probation). For many years. No doubt due to my sunny disposition. Lol. I started to use it as an alter ego. If i had to tell somebody what time it was, i said they got to meet The Troll. I was actually pretty nice to everybody, except for the rare occasions when they would not let me be nice to them. Street cips know what i mean.
The department I was a member of was 60% Hispanic or African American, and being I was the only German in my Division (my given name is Karl Daniel Schneider), I was christened "Danny Schlotzky."
