I've always kept the storm drains clear before, during and after a rainfall. I never recorded me doing it for all these years but after seeing videos on RU-vid I decided to record some and hopefully more in the future.

Lift the Drain Covers UP! Leave them up and All of the Water & SLOP will drain away on it's own!!! Poking at it with a little green stick is a waste of time!

They just milled and paved our street 3 months ago (first time in 24 years) so the grate in the road is stuck unless I cut away the asphalt, which I dont want to do that and the grate in the dirt only gets covered in leaves I've never had a problem with that one filling up with dirt or rocks.

Thanks for the comment lol. I'm not good at these video making yet like post 10 (who you're probably referring too) I've been clearing storm drains for over 10 years and post 10's videos is what made me think to record some.
