Can't overstate the actual importance of the last one, for sure. Like, in any dojo worth anything at all the first thing you'll be taught is, indeed, how to land properly even if you fall not of your own volition, and there's a good reason for that; namely, if nothing else, avoiding shattering your coccyx, because God help you if you do, as that's probably one of the most unenjoyable traumas one can get. Anyways, cool video, man, and it radiates that good old fun you can have when working on this stuff, and having fun imo is the best way to build a good habit. God bless you.

id have to add, tissue elasticity is an important one to stay injury-free while hanging and swinging. What does this mean? Strength through full ranges of motion in the biceps/forearms/shoulders/scaps , no sticking points or knots/scar tissue that could cause a strain/small tear since swinging can cause unpredictable amounts of force in areas you don't expect. Work on any tight areas with ball massage against a wall, and warm up all of these areas well. Use as much assistance as needed. Assisted one arm hangs with rotations for time. Happy swinging 🤙

Hearing the words, if you know how to fall, you’ll be more confident made me smile because a lot of people could not understand that about me when I was younger my mom and I were blessed enough to be able to afford putting me in competition level dance classes and we had to learn how to fall in, so nobody outside of my dance classes would understand my movements… but I was definitely a lot more confident than that. I am now on my feet because I knew that anything could happen, and I would be like a buoy in the water.

We used to tripod headstand into a handstand then roll forward and tuck into a jump-&that was top level baseball training not even parkour or gymnastics. Loved playing multiple sports and keeping it dynamic. This mans right. I always change up what im doing to keep it loose and athletic. FUNCTIONAL strength and mobility. Same reason i tell my kids to move their feet and simulate scenarios when warming up in baseball
