This was very helpful! I have dry skin, so I always use an essence before applying vitamin C, eye cream, a day cream like Allies of Skin peptide cream and for SPF, I love Thank You Farmer water cream SPF 50 in the cooler months. And the water essence (also spf 50) in the warmer months. They both sit really well under makeup

On my washed face I'd put rosewater tonic, then the nø cosmetics 120h hydrator and the nø cosmetics eyecream with caffeine and that's really helpful with my otherwise really dry skin. At night after cleansing, I'd mix retinol serum with any cream I'd like the scent of and on that, a bit of vaseline and that's it

I have rosacea and use Avène extreme gentle cleanser and skin recovery cream, rich in winter regular in summer. I can even use their probiotic and retinaldehyde products, if I ever have a flare-up the cleanser and moisturiser are always calming never irritating. In addition I have just discovered Rosalique, a tinted spf, primer which is lovely and just knocks the redness back, I use it alone as an everyday no make-up look or under a base/concealer. Loving the uncut series KJH.💄💄💋💋

Really love Holika Holika Aloe Gel SPF 50 as a base, it has a really sweet sheen and sorta perfects the skin

The hyper serum is BEYONDDD❤❤❤ No one else is beautiful like KJH

I’ve been testing Bubble Bounce Back Balancing Mist in the a.m. routine for prep and it’s really nice, light and feels lovely. The ingredients are too long to list but very good. Sells at Ulta for $13 and gets consistently good reviews. Also, the atomizer is fantastic! I enjoy the Tower 28 spray as well but I think the spray mechanism is sub-par.

I got a few things in UK Sephora advent calendar I’m loving. The Rodial Glow Serum Primer is lovely, even on very dry skin and so is the Augustine’s Bader Cream. That Cream is realistically not getting replaced but i am using it very sparingly under make up as it helps it look so good. REN glow tonic obviously, Elemis cleansing balm, Pai light oil is lovely.

Thanks for the video, very useful i do similiar prep just more moisturizer. I can't do any makeup without Holika Holika aloe SPF. And a brand SOQU Aloe Toner is super hydrating and great for dry skin. Also Holika Holika has honey sleeping mask, it is perfect for dry or dyhadrated skin! In general, try korean or japanes stuff guys :D (Hada Labo lotion is legendary and also my Holy Grail)

I like to use a chemical exfoliant and currently rotate between the Ren RSG one or Dr Dennis Gross Universal peel pads. Then I use a hydrating mist, eye cream and then Drunk Elephant Protini Peptide cream. If using SPF it’s the new one by the Inkey List which is amazing 🙌🏻

This winter, I’ve been using Happy Face by Beauty Pie. I don’t wear much face make up, but when I do this makes my skin feel really bouncy and provides a really lovely base for make up. In the summer I would probably just use serum then SPF - I love the radiance of Biore.

I have dry and sensitive skin that also gets dehydrated in winter. I’ve tried so many other primera but I keep going back to the smash box primer oil. Being in NYC I’m sure you understand the super dry air in Winter and how centralized heating can make things worse. I’ve found that spritzing the. caudalie grape water or Tower 28 SOS spay after my SPF then sealing it with the primer oil is fabulous. I’m in the hunt for a moisturizing primer/serum to use as a replacement to seal in the hydration before applying my base. It’s hard to find something that won’t irritate the eczema on my eyes and chin

Sk 11 essence , Dermtlgy needle less serum Korean toners like cosrx proplolis toner or cica fit toner also First aid beauty oat toner love the Hygee natural repair serum then a moisturizer I really like to use the cosrx rice sleeping mask as a day moisturizer under my makeup eyecream Biosionse squalene eye cream or dear Klairs fudemental eye butter then mist Peach and Lilly glass skin mist and I really like the smashbox primerizer for an spf I like under makeup as a primer the Canmake mermaid essence in 02 clear it looks really good under makeup. Also like to use the Dermalogica microphoilant powder wash a few times a week makes your skin really smooth. I just call this skincare not makeup prep I usually let my skincare sit for awhile then go in with the SPF or mist and primer .

I love your recommendations, because it's really important to me how foundation "sits" on the skin. I already use REN products, and when I finish my current SPF, I'm going to try the La Roche Posay's Acquagel. Looks very nice on your skin.
