I love seeing quads evolve from 3-minute wonders to efficient 6+ minute flights without sacrificing performance. I think most people really want to get good flight times for their money.
Oh I loved it when you came down and flew between the 2 fishing huts! The pilot video looks so good, I am wondering if I could just use the dvr and get good footage to share... What a nice drone! Thanks for the review!
The boats that were coverd up might have been produced by my grandfather, he use to own a boat company, but he unfortunentally died to cancer due to the toxic plasics... But very fun to see the boats :)
IM SO THRILLED !!! I thought I was out of luck in the sticker giveaway when I saw the update the other day, so imagine my surprise when I received them in the post today. Thank you so much. I live in the U.K. Love this video too. It’s a great wee drone.
Yeah I know just what you mean. The pilot footage looks so good! And the range ... sigh I think it is just a matter of time before I make the investment.
@@fpvcruzer I just saw on your channel that you're a fellow IGOW competitor! 👏 I wanted to comment, but your channel doesn't allow comments because you've selected "made for kids" in the settings.
@@SunriseWaterMedia thanks for letting me know that my video didn’t allow comments, I really appreciate it! I have learned so much since IGOW3 started. I will change the settings.
@@fpvcruzer Sure thing! Let me know when it's changed so I can comment and hit the bell on your channel (the notification bell is also disabled in "made for kids" mode.
dont hear Captain Drone say things are really great often so hearing this described as ""really really good" "freakin awsome" and its under 250grams you KNOW its good!
I like it, all these FPV’s, choice is massive, I keep up to date with how they’re doing Steve and for now I just enjoy your reviews on them and all your other. I will get one soon but still so busy with learning cinematic filming, slow learner. Just saying hi from U.K. and looking forward to your next review, take care.
Hold no, Hold no .... I HAVE GOT to watch that intro again that was mesmerizing 😵 OK, (Hal: "I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that.)😵 OK, OK What was that?😐 I think 🤔I just slipped back to 1968 and was watching "2001: A Space Odyssey" Except for the seizures 😵 your intro WAS FRICK'N A W E S O M E !!!! Two fumbs up bud ... fumbs up.... fumbs up .... thumbs up; there we go still kinda dazed from that amazing intro. now to watch the rest
Here on the Sun Coast in Florida we cover our boats with white plastic to reflect the heat, not the heavier dark blue that warms up so that snow will slide off it.
That's an awesome looking video coming out of that little camera, Fast to. I like how durable the body looks. I'm at AW with the way it's performing, and recording. Great video. 👍👍👍
Why on earth somebody place a thump down on such videos even within 50sec of uploading ! He or she didn’t even watch the content ! Jealousy i guess. Keep on Steve 👍🏻
love the frame, wish they'll come up with analog version and with like a 1w pana vtx at the back. or even the akk 3w for long range. though they are currently selling frames for it, but it will cost almost more or less 70 bucks with bottom frame, top, standoffs and screws only.
Honestly there is nothing new on the market in the camera drone arena. Lots of junk out there, but nothing that I could show. Hopefully we'll see a rash of quality budget drones come out for the spring.
It is for sure an amazing drone and I want to get into FPV too, so maybe that 's the drone for me! I hope that when I buy it it will have extra props😅.
I could be wrong but It appears as though you are able to see the image stabilization of the insta 360 camera work because of that yellow border. I think that is quite cool
Nice review! Looks like a nice FPV.....I have the original Insta360 GO (vs1) as well.....think it's time to upgrade to the vs2 (longer FPV flight times). Feels like 'beat-the-clock' when your flying with the vs1 because its recording time is so short.
I kept rewinding the first flight, just because it was so interesting to see how the Insta360 pan and tilts to for a "smooth" video. I think you need to add this into your test of 360 cameras to show the correction it does in camera. Great review!
The external camera is 1080p @25 FPS and the pilots camera is 720p @ 60 FPS. By having both, I show them side by side so that people know what to expect.
For flying within half a mile, go with FRSKY. If you have a crossfire system, then go with crossfire for longer range. if you have the DJI Radio, go with no receiver for 2 miles of range.
I’m working out what kind of setup to go for, this might fit. Control, cinematic, quick. The drone looks like it will take it and the new v2 goggles can run it.
Nice video C.D. Are there any beginner "KIT" all in one fpv out there that won't break the bank? Intro video was super, but that squeeeling got on my nerves a little. Thanks for all your time creating these videos.
You should word d8 works with any radio a little more carefully. It doesn't work with the tango 2. Doesn't work with a flysky radio. It will work with any frsky radio and any multi protocol module. I ordered the d8 version because it was the only one in stock but will be flying it via crossfire protocol once I get it all wired up.
Thanks so much for the Vid, love the graphics at the start, love this drone, I will definitely be getting it. As usual there were loads of release vids of this drone at the same time incl Drone Camps, Nurk, Albert and Kebab, I chose yours first. Would love to see you fly this drone again at this location when it's ice free
Hey Steve do you use the iflight crystal patch attennas with the V2 Goggles? If so what position do you have them attached. At the mo I have them on top with stubbys on the bottom.
Good video. Two questions: 1. As a beginner coming from DJI Mavic Air/Mini 2/DJI FPV Drone: Which is better when I want to stay below 250 g with a naked GoPro or SMO 4K: This or the GepRC Cinelog 25? 2. Any word on the caddx vista adding support to the new DJI FPV controller? I would like to skip buying the old controller.
Naked gopro you have to build yourself and the SMO 4K is readily available. DJI has not yet permitted the DJI FPV AIR UNITS and licensed CADDX VISTA digital units to connect to the new controller. If they do, everything will require a firmware update.
Looks fun! I’d recommend not buying EMAX products though. The two drones I’ve had from them had issues making them unable to fly, and their customer service was unhelpful to resolve issues.
Okay, I want one! But I haven't flown in years and gave all my stuff away. In order to get flying with one of these HD I figure I need: - the pnp version of the Babyhawk II HD - DJI goggles - DJI V1 controller - 850 mAh 4s batteries - a charger - a charger power supply - spare props Sound right? Anything else? Any recommendations for batteries/charger/power supply? Any tips on connecting the goggles and controller to the Babyhawk? UPDATE: Nevermind! I just found your fantastic FPV beginner series and all is revealed!
This one would be a good one if you start off in the DIGITAL world. If not, then just get yourself a beginner kit from EMAX or BETAFPV or GEPRC... I've reviewed all of them.
Steve would you recommend this as a beginners Fpv? I have the Dji Fpv . But would this be just as good or better than the tinyhawk 2 freestyle. Do they sell the Rtf kit? Thanks Steve . Keep up the great work🤙👍🏼
For the price you might as well get a 5", especially considering Emax's carastrophic quality problems with the Tinyhawk Ii. Be sure to watch Funcentric 's 3-4 breakdown reviews on the Tinhawk where he eviscerates it if you are even thinking of this. Propritary motors, exposed motor wire leads, failing vtxs, no ulf antenna connector making it near impossible to replace cut antenna...etc
The BaB' Yhawk Dos HD is the KIND... under 250Mg 🙄 he he .... Digital? Awww shoot .... now I need to win that there Digital prize on that there Captain Drone RU-vid channel.😎
