SETH FINALLY DOES THE ONE THING HE HASN'T DONE SINCE THE SERIES'S BEGINNING. HE HAS WON HIS HAPPY ENDING. Smile protected. I have mixed feelings about this, I don't want Seth's ending to be non-canon since it has to be Hyde's duty to do that.

Good opening, solid talk w/Vatista, then Chaos. Also liked the Kuon chat, & a great ending with Linne. Well done with the gameplay as well.

Well if you assume Linne's ending is the canon one, Hyde and Seth work together to do it.

Just got her ending, yeah, she can be the canon route. But damn, Seth's is so good though, especially that CG.

Maybe the endings will be combined in the chronicle mode so that we have an established canon

Does it ever got explained, what exactly happens to Linne? Does she "jump bodies" again, or does her current body drastically ages up due to loss of power of sealing?

my working theory's been that linne dies before kuon is defeated and is thus reincarnated, but in this ending seth takes away her reincarnation so idk

Kuon or Seth takes away the Seal of Reincarnation so she's just aging regularly now.

I'm really wondering who this girl is 🤔. I would assume they'll add her in a future Chronicle mode. Also, this might be misplaced, but she kinda resembles Linne, or at least, what the young vessel's body could look like if she grew up a few years.

They intentionally make it ambiguous. By taking in both Linne and Kuon's Arts of Reincarnation and Immortality unto himself, Seth is left undergoing the process of turning into a void. Then ??? shows up (this appears to be a form of LInne, possibly who she originally was as the Night Blade's Princess but now fully incarnated into modern times instead of possessing someone, but who she is exactly is never outright stated), gives him his Eliminators back, and says that it's up to him to decide whether or not he or the other self within him that's slowly taking him over will die. Either way, he will be free of the burden of bearing his clan's sins. Most likely it's the latter, finally allowing Seth to move forward and gain closure on that chapter of his life.
