Thanks. VideoPro App and slow motion on 1V is trully amazing and magic. This the only device on the market that can record 4K in 120fps and.. with Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG). It means that content you record should looks proper on HDR and SDR devices. All films are recorded from hand and without modification/color editing. I think that with 1V we can see nature around us that normally is easy to miss. Cheers.

1. Shutter was mostly in Auto mode (for 4K120 minimum is 1/125), there was manual shutter in some shots but at now I dont remember which one (sometimes I lock exposure with ISO/Shutter to make sure it doesn't change when moving to a different brightness region). Sample at 7:20 was 100% Auto because you can see exposure change a little when clouds and sunset came to the frame). 80% of video was in Auto HDR HLG but with AE correction in menu (AE correction changes the shutter value). 2. Video mode was HDR HLG and software output was: Source/HLG 2100. Colors are 100% the same as straight from 1V Thanks✋

Very good question 🤔. This sample was shot with an 85mm telephoto lens. If the lens had a constant aperture F, then at a variable focal length of 85-125mm the aperture would also have to be variable (aperture with blades), but here we have a lens with a different aperture F2.3 (85 mm) - F2.8 (125 mm). I can assure you that the entire video was shot on Xperia1V. Hmmm. 🤔One thing came to my mind. The full frame (35mm) calculator gives me these results. For 85mm and F2.3 the hole is 36mm, for 125mm and F2.8 it shows me 44mm, for a smaller sensor the calculations should be the same I guess. So it is very possible that there is a variable aperture because there is a variable focal length. For a smaller sensor the calculations should be the same. If I'm wrong, please someone smarter explain it.

In HLG you get much more details in shadows. When you set AE level (VideoPro App menu) to minus you can get nice contrast even under the sun and contrast at all. It is good when you dont want grading this on computer.

@paulz7716 Całość nagrana z ręki. Opisałem to w sumie. Wybrałem najlepsze ujęcia (choć trochę zostało) i nic nie było obrabiane (ani kolory ani stabilizacja). Jedynie połączyłem sample. Mój program który ostatnio ogarniam nie ma na wyjściu HLG więc musiałem (są min 4 programy które to robią) skorzystać z AdobePremiere, który wypuszcza HLG na wyjściu (tutaj HLG 2100). Daje to pewną równowagę na ekranach SDR i HDR (po to w sumie HLG jest). Slow motion jest bo nagrane w całości w 4K120fps (oprócz jednego sampla). Ponadto 120fps nie tylko po to by pokazać slo-mo ale też by mieć "obraz" tego, że w np 30fps jakość byłaby momentami znacznie lepsza ale... no właśnie bez slo motion.

@@wnj765 1. Film ma pokazać pracę HDR pod słońce. Dodatkowo rozpiętość i szumy w 120fps. 2. Wybrałem najlepsze ujęcia pod słońce z tych które zrobiłem, po prostu, tyle by film nie był za długi. Wszystko było nagrane w 3 dni i nie tak łatwo jest uchwycić tyle ujęć z niskim słońcem w krótkim czasie. Docelowo miały być same ujęcia pod słońce ale dorzuciłem naturę ożywioną. Większość też pod słońce aczkolwiek akurat w tym miejscu owady nie urzędują o godzinie i kącie padania słońca jaki bym chciał. 3. Planuje więcej.. bo czemu nie? :)

Noise is visible in some samples due to extreme lighting conditions

Samples was just combine in the software that output the same color space (rec2100). All samples on my channel with prefix "VideoPro" are straight from phone - there are 2 samples from Under the sun that were release before film, you can play it and compare with film. You can find prefix in samples description. More new samples are on the way... You all be suprise.

99% recorded at 4K120fps. Sample nr 4 has visible YT compression - I see that on the water.

In photo mode (bees etc) I suggest to use Hi+ (try to change AF zone and find whats good for you). The video mode is a little different than the photos (HDR). Most of the shots in this sequence (bees/bumblebee) were recorded with an 85mm lens, AF to MF lock. Mix of 24mm and 85mm, 120fps. Without the use of filters, overlays or gimbals. Phone only.

29,97 fps + slow motion mode in VideoPro, soo it is 120fps down to 30fps (29,97). 4 times slo-mo.

1. VideoPro 2. No profiles. Just 4K120fps (30fps) HDR HLG mode (with AE corection in menu to minus; some shots with manual ISO/shutter in HLG mode). AF and locked MF (manual focus). From hand. 3. No post-process, no grading, no editing etc. This footage is 100% staight from 1V. You can achive all that in smartphone itself (samples was just combine on PC and I added animated title). Maybe soon I will make video how to setup 1V to video like that.

@@lucasn82_ Excellent! Nice to see the colors are good SOOC. I am considering this for personal and family footages only and do not want to post process, nice to know its doable. By the way, is there some kind of stabilization in Video Pro App? I have the Xperia 5 ii at the moment and as you know, there is no Video Pro App in this model.hehe and no stabilization in Cinema Pro as well. Thank you!

@@alexaelleliam Video was fully recorded on VideoPro from hand (no gimbal, tripod etc). 120fps slow motion give you ability to shot like that but it is not a superb stable. VideoPro has one nice feature. U can change values/presents etc while you are recording.

Stabilization is good/medicore itself but in 120fps mode you can achive efect like in film. All done on the camera itself. I just combine samples in a video editing program, and output the same color space source (HLG Rec.2020 Rec.2100). The film is like 'straight from phone' but with YT compression.

The samples were only combined in the software (HLG input -> HLG output). On my channel there are samples directly from Xperi 1V. All with the prefix "VideoPro" and two samples "under the sun sample 1&2" are uploaded straight from phone. You can compare how they look with the movie - they were used in the movie. HLG is like some sort of advance HDR mode - smiliar to "colored" s-log (but with limited DR). If you record one sample and upload to YT you achive this type of quality, if you have more samples and want to combine you need software that can output HLG. Unfortunately, the new VideoCreator application for Xperia 1&5 does not have HLG output yet - I checked it 2 days ago.

Adobe Premiere. There is several apps with HDR output. Da Vinci, Premiere, Magix and Catalyst Edit. I like Shotcut (very nice editor) but at now it doesnt has HDR HLG output - it is on the roadmap :) This video is straight from 1V recorded in HLG mode, output in app: HLG broadcast (35mbps).

Prosto z 1V. Wszystkie filmy które wrzucam na kanał staram sie robić albo w Auto albo tak jak zrobił to hardware. Tryb 4K120fps HDR HLG z manualną korekcją ekspozycji w miarę potrzeb (wrzucony do softu by połączyć tylko sample). Jestem zwolennikiem "łapania.. momentów?" i nawet za przerabianiem zdjęć nie przepadam. Powtórzę przy okazji to co czasem powtarzam. Xperie nie lubią odcisków palców na obiektywie. Taki offtop. Pozdro.

@@jerzys.9886 tak VideoPro w całości. Bardzo szybko można ogarnąć co ustawić by było okej. Zaskoczył mnie obiektyw 85mm i użyłem go dość sporo w sumie za namową/pomysłem jednego z komentujących. Ujęcia z "bąkiem" i owadami w większości nakręcone 85mm. Pzdr

Czyli chyba film trochę dał radę. Ogólnie wiele tu było przypadku i sprawdziła się stara zasada, że najlepszy sprzet to ten który mamy pod ręką. Całość nakrecona bez przerabiania. Taki materiał wychodzi z 1V (jedynie korekcja ekspozycji jest tu potrzebna). Pozdro

@@lucasn82_ A czy byłaby szansa, żebyś nagrał nam jakieś ujęcia w np domowych warunkach? Tak już po zmierzchu, gdzie jedynym światłem jest oświetlenie w pokojach. Jestem szalenie ciekawy, jak Xperia poradziłaby sobie w takich warunkach, bo niestety, ale często jest tak, że na zewnątrz wiele ujęć wygląda ładnie, bo piękna sceneria temu sprzyja, a ujęcia strzelane w ciasnych pokojach mieszkania pomagają obnażyć wrażliwe kwestie aparatów w smartfonach.

Mam na kanale dużo filmów/sampli low light. A co do pomieszczeń telefon ma balans bieli (AWB/predefiniowane) i dodatkowo możesz sobie "wgrać/pobrać" dowolny własny. W pomieszczeniach jest według mnie ok. Dopiero przy klatkarzu 60fps przy niskim świetle (np na rynku) musiałem pobawić sie balansem bieli by pozbyć sie czasem lekkiej magenty. Apka CinemaPro lepiej sobie radzi z 60fps wedlug mnie, a o dziwo 120fps low light jest lepszy/łatwiejszy w VideoPro. PS Pod filmem Xperia 1V Exmor T daytime są w opisie linki do sampli 60fps o które prosił jeden user (niektóre wymagają kolorowania)
