When I was working for target I was the top red card seller and everything. This lady got her raise she told me she got 1.50 dllr raise, and I was excited because I worked there longer, was top seller And always on time. They offered me .07 cent increase. I told them are you serious?!?! I was like wow.. now that’s bad!!!

Sad? I'd say it's more insulting.

It's how it goes with big corporations across the board, and people wonder why nobody wants to work anymore.

this is not a 20-person company, he mentions that those 25 c amount to 100,000 Dollars (whetehr per month, week or year, i didnt get), it s easier to give substantial raise if the company is vey small, in large companies the effect of just a few cents more is immense in the overall cost increase.

Contrary the to the comments of the other viewers. I would be grateful. I would have 25 cents an hour added to my wages, 5 thousand dollars for my Grandchildrens college and 25 thousand dollars for an upgraded vehicle that I didn't have a week ago. Plus the CEO could realize that an employee incentive program is in the best interest of his organization. This is a matter of perspective and I hope that future viewers will share mine!

Exactly my thoughts. When the boss was like "times got hard, we had to cut costs" I thought, yeah, bet none of those cuts seriously effected corporate or upper management. Scumbag. And "Because of you!!! we're going to open up the sports drink fridge for TWO WHOLE MONTHS!!" WOOOOOOOWW!!! The other 10 you can go f**k yourselves, we're keeping those padlocks.

100% I did it for about 2 shifts then quit wasn't worth the money

If it's true he quite then I applaud him. No reason to stay for a huge stinking 25 cent an hour raise and making such hoopla over sports drink access in a super hot warehouse.

@@oldtwinsna8347 I know a 25-cent raise that's an insult in this economy so if you work 8 hours a day 5 days a week you get a whole extra $20 what a pay raise you can buy a whole combo and a half with that

Bonuses are taxed to fuck. I got a sign on bonus, a hefty one and I walked away with just a little more than half of the amount they originally said after taxes.

its not just him though, its for all workers, could add up to be a lot in a big company.

It's better than when you maybe 🤔 offer more than 25¢ an hour. How about also medical insurance and a good retirement plan for later in life would be more worth than a 25¢ a hour raise!!! Remember he is already 50 .....

That's only $4 on an 8 hour shift pre-tax. Post more like $3, not going to find much in terms of a meal these days for that.

But just think, after working 4 hours in those abysmal conditions, sweating, being talked down to and demeaned you get ONE WHOLE EXTRA DOLLAR to take home! WOW!

granted the job i worked at was NOWHERE near as strenuous and challenging as this one...but i remember working for a university department that was extremely well-funded and they fucked me over on pay then, because so many other employees had quit over the years, i finally get a raise...of .25 cents an hour. embarrassing. needless to say, i quit five months later and the new job has given me a raise every single year i've worked there

@@Zybran93 well considering some bosses only give them a week vacation or a free training course this one gave the dude a 25,000 dollar on a car and 10,000 dollars in his kids education. Not saying the boss is a great dude but, he did do more then a lot of undercover bosses. People just always want to find something to complain about but, the guy seemed very pleased.
