I was in this episode of Undercover Boss as a guest camper in the store at the Stockton KOA. It was a very special trip of me and my family. Both my Mother and Father had been diagnosed with Cancer in April of 2012, my mother passed in May 2012 and after her passing my father wanted one last fishing trip, so the family reserved cabins and enjoyed my fathers very last camping trip and my nieces 9th birthday. My father passed about 5 weeks after this was shot. Thank you KOA for precious memories.
What a large heart this CEO has. I just love his level of generosity that even many, many super rich people out there do not have. Don't get me wrong, I do not despise the rich, but this man is extremely generous. I don't know about y'all, but I think with more bosses like him, many people would have greater lives.
My best friend works at Modells in the bronks,,,,He was telling me he was asked to help train a newbie by his Regional Manager,Was told camera's were to document his training abilities,,,He didn't know it was Undercover Boss,,,Now he's a Sales Manager thru out the Eastern seaboard,,,,so your ideas that the people they choose because of whatever issues are falsely spoken...
Considering most businesses are out make money not friends.. you kind of wonder what happens once the cameras are gone.. it would be nice to think the sentiments shown are genuine and ongoing...
So what if the drama is assisted? So what if it is "constructed" reality? All the so-called reality shows are that way. I get my little dose of schmaltz from shows like this. We all need that once in a while.
I am an American and I have, unfortunately, worked in retail, my comment is not 'ignorant' it is from personal experience. And I don't pay taxes to anyone anymore, so shows you what you know, LOL.
I hear yea. Working in customer service gives you an unfortunate insight to how society really is...it's rude, pompous and impatient. Sometimes I feel if the world worked in customer service for a month society would be a better place.
You've obviously never worked in customer service. I work at a university, and I get cussed out, and screamed at daily, via the phone as well as in person. People are horrible, rude scumbags sometimes.
probably fake indeed, as much of what happens in the show is. It's not so much about what's fake or not, it's more about how people react to the event.
You live in a country where the average tax rate is 45% people have to go out of country to get a affordable used car because of the high taxes imposed on new car ownership. One of the highest incomes in the world and half is handed back to the government. I can see why you would be jealous of the of the American consumer and make such a blanket statement. Americans come from every country on the planet I myself am an immigrant from Germany. So your comment is ignorant to say the least.
