its like 50/50 , 50 % the pages should care about their reputation and not post just anybody , kind of like how some rappers wont work with other no matter the pricetag . and thhe other 50% is ppl saying " hey blank page posted it so it totally must be fire "
i wouldnt agree some pages be having WILD ass posts that are straight up horrible. Bobbalam even said before sometimes he takes a promo knowing its ass
Hbk was pretty self aware tho he posted a story saying all you have to do in the underground is pay for your name to get pushed and you will go up it’s pretty sad but just how it is now
it's fucking sad seeing how clique driven the scene has become they're modern day radio gatekeepers and the shit they pump out is fucking awful... some of the most talented artists are completely ignored for people like shrimboi it's sad as an artist
What is this video? Are you like just realizing that you’ve all been engaging in marketing and promotion and didn’t know? Dude underground rap fans are soo dumb. It’s like they’re figuring out how the world works every day and need to make a video on basic stuff instead of just listening to people around them.
As someone who can’t afford promo or reposts really. It’s hella tuff to get a buzz like the artists that get posted on pages hella. But the growth is slow & steady.
I could never knock another mans hustle down but I think the issue with this shit is the fact that money is involved. If pages allow actual talent to be pushed, the underground could head in the right direction. Instead, a lot of people are blinded by the money instead of the actual art. As a director anybody could pay me to shoot a video. But I look at it like, if the song is trash do I want it to be connected to me as part of my art. Does a bad song deserve a good video? I want people to look at my work as something they can enjoy. A good video, with a good song. So when to comes to pages, wouldn't they want people to look at them as a reliable place for good music? I don't know maybe im chatting. But for reference, Autumn - TWO CHROME NECKLACES 2:00 . He put it in good perspective.
Downloading band lab for a week and putting more focus on paying to get your name out there instead of your music quality deserves to be torn down ngl this trend should not continue lmao
ong bro ion y they promotin 2slimey, most underground pages make pages for their interest, to promote their career or there friends. ;//////////////////
HPD is just underground hype satire. the problem is that the ppl take the satire serious, and other ppl just play the satire game. so it blurs the frontier between what's satire n what's not, n sometimes i don't think this is trolling.
Ian blew up cause of hbk too, underground pages get to create the underground narrative. There’s rlly an underground mainstream now😂😭 mfs like osamason, nettspend n lazer dim. Mainstream ug
dis "method" of paying pages wont get u anywhere in the music industry stop lying to these ppl. the "underground" community is a place u gotta escape from as an artist, not try to be the biggest one in it
Thats what i think music will be like in the future. You just say shit is hard because everyone else does. Its like mcdonalds like its crap but its everywhere
I don’t think the shrimp song is bad, everyone taste different, me personally I like it, that song makes me smile the beat funny af and hyper‼️‼️‼️ lil --- u a 🍤
i have money. is this actually the efficient way to blow up if I spent 3k on instagram pages I'd need a million streams to see back that money idk man, anyone else debating how worth it this is?
if u want to be on for a year then fall off paying pages is the way to go about that. only real music lasts. the 15 year olds who support the bs will grow up and it will be forgotten. make art not gimmicks.
