Ngl you’re right about Yeat, I feel like 2093 was the best direction for him at this point in his career since it’s aging really well and people are starting to understand the meaning on the album.
It is an extremely good experimental album. If you have listened to some of his new snippets and leaks his new album should be easily his best work yet with a wide variety of different flows, styles, sounds and genres
It’s only going to grow on people, I don’t think Yeat is completely going back to his old sound. I think he’ll keep evolving and add onto the 2093 sound, fine tune it & maybe add a lil more of his old sound to it, it’s just needs a little more of the old Yeat mixed in
facts, “fans” always hate when artists do something new then go to praise it eventually. when an artist does the same shit for years like fans want they are bound to fall off. theres a reason theyre the popular artist and the fan isnt
The problem with the pink tape is that he put the corny rock songs, and those songs were already songs released years ago, he just added his vocals on them. However, other than that, I actually enjoyed the album.

Yes I think the truth is the ideal archetype or typical trajectory for a career isn’t a thing anymore. Ye, Tyler, Kendrick, Cole, Carti, Future, Lil Durk\Baby. All exist at the same time. “Your too old” “You should” “That doesn’t work” doesn’t really exist. Future didn’t blow up till 30, and is still going up (sales wise) and he’s 40~. While Uzi sb who blew up young is definitely not as prominent in the industry as he was at 20. The nature of how marketing and images work now makes all paths just as viable as another maybe not as easy but all is possible.
Fym people calling 2093 mid. The only people calling it mid are the TikTok fans. Every real Yeat fan agrees that Yeat has gotten better with every release, especially 2093. From his production on tracks like U Should Know and his lyricism on tracks like 1093, it is easily his best album. People said the same about WLR, now that album is praised by fans

Rehab from Pink Tape was better than any song on EA imo but Pink Tape was such a mess of an album, I don't know if you could even call it an album. I'm convinced that the CS cover single handedly damaged Uzi's reputation and Pink Tape itself, even though it had good songs. Yeat will be fine, he just does whatever he wants knowing how much he drops. He already had like 3 albums all planned out for the last year. And even though Carti is more rare than Yeat, he will be fine as well. Uzi won't fall off, he's too established at this point and will always have fans, but due to his own incompetence in himself, that could further damage his reputation down the line if he keeps giving in to too much fan service, which ends up being mid or trash songs. It also didn't help that he barely promoted EA and the good songs from PT after they both dropped. No music vids, no continuous promo, lack of merch/bundles, barely any peeps about tours, etc.
Uzi never was consistent on his projects (maybe first luv is rage was). Problem with EA was definetly its hype rollout, 'cause album doesnt compensate waiting for it to drop. For me, 2093 is something fresh and new from him. Previous i didnt stick with very similar sounds on all of his projects, but now im seriously interested in him and his next moves.

Pink Tape was amazing, however I am sure Uzi would've been way happier if they didn't listen to URU (uzirareupdates) and instead just dropped what they wanted to drop

I think another one who fell off listening to the fans is Trippie Redd. He continues to ask fans for their opinions on songs to drop and album tracklists. It gives far too much importance to fanatics who think they know whether a song is good or not based on a 20 second leak.
the Uzi stuff true I mean I was watching a old documentary where Uzi said he makes the best music when he’s hes natural form and off the rim a mistake I feel uzi is doing is that he’s trying TOO hard to be different to the point it doesn’t feel organic or just trying appeal to the fans the reason he felt different during 2016 era was because that just him! Im only 2 minutes in, idk what you bouta say about carti but he NEEDS to listen to his fans. Carti needs to stop focusing on features and drop his dam album ( although some would argue the 5 songs he's dropped was the album) and drop the mysterious act it doesn't make him look cool nor does it really suit him he sux at it
