The places you go.. Holy shit. I know the bunks are small but y'all still need day cabs. No sleeper. Reminds me of picking up & delivering to Expo/convention centers. 70+ feet of rig & 40 feet of space.

Great skills Raul, nice to see what you guys have to go through in tight situations, a real insite into the industry 👍. After watching trucking VLOG's I have a greater appreciation of what truckers do, and give them more room when out driving.

If you don't mind me saying Raul, you made a right horses arse of that, if you go there again, drive in between the posts right up to the yellow barrier and blind side it round and you will land beautifully on the bay, I used to deliver there for Home Bargains

Even with the suspension down you cannot get halfway under that beam…That is exactly the manoeuvre to get in.But wait until lockdown is finished and that area is full of vehicles.B&M driver here who has done that store many a time

They should send architects out in lorries before they're allowed to start drawing! It looks from the video like there could have been a straight through route which would have wasted a lot less space & not taken a chance on someone knocking one of those posts out & bringing the whole shop down.

U can actually spin it round in there, 4 wheeler is best. I've done it in both 4 & 6 wheelers. Just head towards the first yellow Post and the car, then turn just before and head for the next post then turn and ur backend fits nice between the two posts when turning 🤪 6 wheeler you need to do small opposite shunt to get past the small realings and carry on round to get the position of trailer to delivery point😜

Well done mate, that was a bugger. I think the intended route there is what you said, straight in then blind side reverse, but I'm with you a blind side should be avoided if at all possible.

Funny how everything looks the same no matter what country you're in. I've done hundreds of underground deliveries around Helsinki metro region. It looks just like that here too. 🤷‍♂️

Would have been nice if one of the store employees had come and gave you assistance, and told you how drivers normally do it.

There's a basement delivery area in the Bristol suburbs that caught me out. The risk assessment did warn to be careful of the columns but failed to identify the problem. I manoeuvred to get between the columns which I thought were in nice neet rows. I reversed back very slowly then *clunk* and I stopped abruptly. I climbed out to see what I'd hit, it was only another column on its own in the middle, not in a row with any others! WTF!! Luckily I was going very slow and that particular column was clad in timber for protection so not damage was done to column or trailer. Lesson learned, I now make a mental note of all the support columns and other obstructions on the way into the delivery area. Best basement delivery area for me was ASDA at Llanelli (I think) which had a turntable, drive in until the yard man says stop, wheels right to the edge so the front of the unit overhangs, then wait while the guy operates the turntable and within a couple of minutes you're lined up for the bay, you just have to reverse back about a metre. When you're finished you just drive out!
