Arcane is such an amazing show! I loved it so much! I def recommend to anyone who hasn’t watched it and I also had no idea what League of legends was or played the game haha! I’m adding burning to my watch list!!
Arcane is fantastic! And I’m also gonna check out Burning. One show I watched recently on Hulu & really enjoyed was Only Murders in the Building. Steve Martin, Martin Short & Selena Gomez star in it. It’s a cute whodunnit. Might be a little too much boomer humor for a younger audience, but I found it to be a good show, with a fun cast of characters.
Netflix-Derry Girls, The Dragon Prince Hulu-Pen15, Abbott Elementary, The Dropout, Reservation Dogs Apple TV- Pachinko, For All Mankind Amazon Prime-The Wilds
An underrated show on Disney+ for me is Diary of a Future President. Although it's a kid's show, it's one with excellent representation and I actually think the dialogue is pretty witty sometimes. It was unfortunately canceled after the most recent season, but still worth watching.
Netflix - Derry Girls, Anne with an E, On My Block, Young Royals, and Teenage Bounty Hunters Hulu - PEN15, Reservation Dogz, and Golden Girls (not underrated but still a great show) HBO Max - Sort Of and The Righteous Gemstones
This video was a snake-eyes for me 'cause I don't have the budget to throw away on any streaming service (not even Netflix), but it's still wonderful to have you back, Monika. Thanks for taking care of yourself first. That's important.
Me with the intention of pirating most of these movies if I decide to watch them cuz rn I only got Netflix😭 honestly you should do the same since rn most of these companies are so high in price nowdays
so here are also some recommendations : Netflix : - Dark (it's a German show, a lot of time traveling mind fuck, the first two episodes you think it's a horror show but believe me it absolute isn't, dark gloomy vibe, you really have to pay attention, every detail is important) - the OA (also a lot of mind fuck, supernatural elements) - young royals (typical high school show, but with a prince, LGBTQ+ main couple) - julie and the phantoms (originally a kids show, but I love it, musical series, ghost band) - lock & key (family moves to a new town, supernatural stuff going on) Disney : - the owl house (animated "kids show", a lot of LGBTQ+ representation) prime: - the legend of vox machina (animated show for adults, based of a D&D campaign) - panic (show about teenagers which have to play a life threatening game to win money (not horror))
yass you're back ! I really hope you are doing better🌸💜💜💜 Thank you for still making an effort to post, your videos are so positive, aesthetic, and relaxing, they never fail to bring a smile to my face:)
Arcane is so amazingggg- It's my favorite show atm, and I actually do play the game, so when I saw the characters it was just yes. The characters got such an update, which I love!
My condolences for the loss of your father, and hope you and your family are doing well. May he live on in happy memories and joyful thoughts. thank you for the fantastic recommendations
Welcome back monika 💕I've been wanting to start "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel", maybe this is a sign 👀 also, have you heard about a show on netflix called "American Vandal"? it's definitely worth the watch✨
I LOVEEEEE AMERICAN VANDAL and it is so satisfying that season 2 was even better than season 1 (in my opinion). Such a witty and entertaining show. I second this rec! The Marvelous Mrs Maisel is very good btw, but I wouldn’t recommend binging it. Watch it one episode a day, or you might burn out.
@@alenanela1743 second season is a wild ride for sure! I prefer season one bc of the ending, it was so impactful 🤯 and good to know! I'll take it easy then 😌
I will soon give you an additional comment about the films you shared in this video. For now though, I want to tell you, I am so so sorry for your loss. 😥💔 I hope you and your family all trying to hang in there. please know, how you are feeling about your loss and your grief, is completely okay and valid. There is no correct response or way to feel. Whether you feel at peace and whole, or it feels heavy, and you feel hurt and vulnerable, you are justified in this. I am sending you all my condolences, support, and love to you and your family. 😇🤎🙏🏻💐
thank you so much, i appreciate it 💜 i agree there's no correct response or way to feel. i feel like these last 2 months have been both the longest and the shortest months ever. i'm back to my normal routine now but i'm taking things slow 💜 thanks again for your comment!!
Sincerest condolences for the passing of your father. I lost mine in January and my wife lost hers back in September. Wishing you and your family peace, joy and strength in this difficult time.
Disney+ also has Secrets of Sulphur Springs! Criminally underrated oh my goodness, definitely would recommend to anyone who is a fan of So Weird and Goosebumps
a show recommendation from disney+ would definitely be Daredevil!! it used to be on netflix but recently got moved (cause its marvel) its definitely worth watching and in my opinion my favorite marvel show!! its about a blind man who’s also a lawyer and fights crime, the action and dialogue is very good :)
Netflix: sex education, bojack horseman, the umbrella academy, alice in borderland, schitts creek Hulu: bob's burgers, only murders in the building, what we do in the shadows, brooklyn 99 Hbo max: our flag means death, west side story (2021), hacks, the righteous gemstones, succesion, made for love
No I do my research ahead of time on Google or RU-vid. If something catches my attention, I watch it. I just watched The Nightcrawler with Jake Gyllenhaal. Chilling. I watched a weird movie called Border on Hulu. It is about some non humans. I watched The Chelsea Detective on Acorn. Very intelligent mystery. Acorn has many mystery shows and others that are Public Television or BBC quality.
Hi Monica love your recommendations. I am a huge fan of Mrs.Maisel. I also watched an animated series called Blade Runner/Black Lotus. I was hooked on animated movies after this.
the book station eleven is one of my favorites of all time! it has some pretty big differences from the show, but i think that they are both amazing in their own right.
Great recommendations, thanks! May I suggest listing your recommendations in the top pinned comment so people can take a screenshot and add them to their que?
Thank you for making a video with interesting shows to watch. Most people who make videos like this pick the most popular shows out there that I’ve literally watched 100 times lol
for peacock i would highly recommend: the 355, perfect world, and crouching tiger hidden dragon. i loved this video thanks for all the recommendations!!
I love your video so much ! im struggling to find what i should be watching and it get annoying lol i been watching everything you recommended , rn i watching shoplifter !
I couldn't finish killing of a sacred dear because it freaked me out so much! I'll definitely go back to it at some point, but I could not handle it at the time whoops
I highly recommend you check out Children of Men and Oldboy. Both amazing films that everyone should see. Children of Men is a very overlooked masterpiece of a sci fi thriller that doesn’t get as much attention as it deserves. And Oldboy is one of the most famous revenge thrillers and Korean films of all time.
hulu: the great north (adult animation/comedy) ugly betty (dramedy) pen15 (dramedy) broad city (sitcom) archer (adult animation/comedy) netflix: why are you like this (comedy) sisters (dramedy) dead to me (dramedy) tuca and bertie (adult animation/comedy + s2 and s3 soon to be on hbo) girlboss (comedy) 30 rock (sitcom + pretty popular but doesn’t get talked about enough imo) the way of the husband (anime/comedy) hbo max: adam ruins everything (comedy/reality?) genera+ion (teen drama/dramedy) betty (teen drama/dramedy) harley quinn (adult animation/comedy) apple tv: mythic quest (sitcom) central park (musical/adult animation/comedy) mr corman (musical/comedy) peacock: charmed (dramedy) psych (sitcom) guess my favorite genre lol
your recos in general isn't my go-to genre at all (except for a goofy movie...hahaha) but i found myself enjoying this video a lot!! your style is so great. i love how you edit! subscribed
Okay so I have 2 I recommend! Netflix: ‘The Forgotten Battle’ (will break your heart, features Tom Felton, is a war film) Apple TV: ‘Invasion’ (it’s one of my all time favorites, the director of this show also produced ‘The Martian’, if you really like multiple storylines and the end of the world TV shows, you’ll really like this one)
