Understanding Aircraft's Landing Gear System(Part2): Extension & Retraction System + Safety Features 

Hi. This video is Part 2 of my discussion on the Landing Gear System.
Part 1 was regarding the SHOCK ABSORBER. and Part 2 is regarding EXTENSION and RETRACTION SYSTEM along with its SAFETY FEATURES.
In this videos, we look at what is an extension retraction system, the different types of extension retraction systems. We also look at how the retraction takes place in the Main Landing Gear and in the Nose Landing Gear. We also look at the extension retraction sequence, if Landing Gear Doors are also installed.
The video also gives some of the main safety features that are included in this system, which ensure proper extension and retraction of the landing gear.
